Chapter 3: Taken By Hybrids...

(Cara's Pov)

Brad had left late tonight and we where still awake waiting on the pack to bail us out.

"Are you sure they are coming?" I asked he nodded

"Lets see if we can mind link" I nodded and phased

'I'll try' I said to Alex he nodded

' Hunter?'

'Yes love?'

' O my God Hunter where are you!?!?'

' I'm in a closet..'

'Why?'

' we almost got caught by the lab guy we don't know the pass code though'

' don't forget Cody... Don't hurt him either please?'

'Your mates with a human!?!?'

' Hunter just hurry don't get caught either.'

' alright love be down there in a jiffy'

Who says jiffy? I rolled my eyes and sat there. A couple minutes later the door opened quietly and Hunter had Cody in a headlock with a knife I gasped. Hunter talked to Cody and the door opened and he dropped Cody, I tackled him.

"I told you not to hurt him!" I whispered/yelled grabbing his shirt in handfuls

"I wouldn't have had to if he didn't cooperate!" he whispered raising his voice I brought my fingers to my lips to make him be quiet. I carefully got off him and went to Cody

"Are you okay?" I asked him he nodded

"Okay lovebirds lets go" I stood up but Cody didn't follow

"Lets go.." I said tugging him up he shook his head

"I have family here"

"I'm your mate you have to go " he shook his head and let go of my hand. I whimpered,suddenly Hunter had him in a headlock again.

"I suggest you come with us" he said darkly.

I sat in the bed of the truck being there was no room. Once we pulled into the driveway Alex sped out of the car. I hopped down, looking at our surroundings.

I walked in the house still a wolf and shifted once inside, Eleanor came in dragging a passed out Cody by the shirt. I looked at her and pointed raising my hands.

"I don't know Cody and Hunter where fighting while I was driving" I signed

"What do you want me to do with him?" I fought with my inner wolf who wanted me to stay with my mate.

"Put him in the cell for the full moon.. I will deal with him tomorrow." She nodded and her, Alex, and his mate Shelby carried him down the stairs. He probably needs clothes... I sighed and called up a friend of mine, named Jackie. I asked her if she would bring me his clothes, Cody would probably be ticked but its for the best he might not realize it, but he could loose the best thing that's ever happened to him. I walked up the stairs into my room putting on black bottoms, and a hot pink tank top.

( Cody's Pov)

I woke up on a bed and looked at my surroundings I was in a cell and it stunk like dog. Soon a door closed I sat up and a girl with black hair and blue highlights appeared

"Here it's breakfast, I'd eat to before Alpha comes down and transforms you. This might just be our last meal as a human.." she said with a smile and it fell once the door closed she quickly walked away. Soon enough Cara came down I just sat my food on the table she was in a short white dress and black heels
