"Christmas!" Claire yelled as she flung open Enoch's door, Enoch groaned and buried his face in my hair.
"Come on you two! I wanna open presents!" Claire closed the door and you could hear her footsteps fade.
"I don't wanna" Enoch grumbled I pulled him up.
"Please!" I looked above us to see mistletoe "FIONA!" I yelled with a laugh and I kissed him.
Enoch and I got dressed and walked into the sitting room. I made it snow outside to set the mood.
List of gifts I got
Enoch got me some perfume and a kiss
Horace got me a new watch
Emma got me a candle
Olive got me another stuffed animal
Millard gave me his Beauty and the Beast book
Hugh got me a jar of honey
Fiona got me some lilacs
The twins made me a card that crudely read "you're the best"
Claire gave me a tea set so we can play
Afterwards the kids went to play in the snow. Enoch and I walked up tp Victors room.
"Every year" Enoch started "I wake Victor up and we chat for a while"
Enoch placed a heart in and waited.
"Enoch" Victor mumbled, I gasped "send me back dammit. I like it there"
"It's Christmas Victor. You know this is tradition. I want to introduce you to my girlfriend. Lily, meet Victor"
Victor sat up and opened his eyelids, black sockets stared at me.
"I'm sure you're beautiful" he kissed my hand.
"I wish I could've met you properly" I smiled.
"The heart is going out" Enoch said "next year as usual?"
"Hows Bronwyn?" Victor asked ignoring Enoch.
"She's great" I said softly, Victor laid back down and closed his eyelids, the heartbeat stopped.
