"I'm not going to Homecoming."

Imogen Farien Avery stared at Stefan Salvatore with a quirk eyebrow. The green-eyed vampire kept asking her to go to Homecoming with him.

Stefan frowned childishly. "Why not? It'll be fun!" he said as Imogen narrowed her chocolate brown eyes at him. "Okay, not really but a certain Original will be there."

Imogen's eyes soften. 'Nik.....'

Stefan stepped closer to her. "I know how much Klaus mean to you but I don't want you getting involve, Imogen." he said earnestly.

Imogen quirk an eyebrow. "Is it the---"

Stefan rolled his eyes. "I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Watch it, Stefan. Your humanity is showing." Imogen teased.

Stefan rolled his eyes again. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." he muttered before sighing heavily. "But are you sure you don't want to go?"

Imogen shakes her head. "I'm good. I'm not really a part of your school."

Stefan sighed. "I was hoping to ask you to be my date." he mumbled.

Hearing him, Imogen chuckled softly. "I'd love to be your date but unfortunately I'm not going."

Stefan looked longingly at her. He placed a hand behind his back, where a glass stake was sticking out of his back pocket. He took the noirette's stake from her coffin.

"Tell me Imogen, what do you think will happen later?" Stefan asked quietly.

Imogen narrowed her eyes. "I don't know." she mumbled.

"You didn't use your powers?"

Imogen looked down and smirked mockingly. "I didn't, didn't I? I wonder why?"

"Whatever happens later I promise that nothing will happen to you."

Imogen looked up at him. "Oh, Stefan. Stop protecting me and focus on Elena."

Stefan slowly walked over to her. "So, that's why I have to do this."

The noirette furrowed her eyebrows. "Do what, Stefan. What are you talk---"

Stefan quickly took out the glass stake and plunged it into her stomach.

Imogen gasped in pain as she looked at Stefan with wide eyes, hurt evident in her eyes.
