You and Harry had been together for over 3 years now. The talks about getting married and having a baby happened more often than usual.

Getting married wasn't really a problem to you, you've always dreamt of a fairytale wedding since you were a kid, but you weren't sure about having a baby. And that really annoyed Harry. He had just gotten home from the U.S. leg of the tour. You had just gotten him back, but you guys had been arguing nonstop.

"So, you're saying you don't want a baby with me, because you think you're not ready for it?" Harry's voice was still very gentle and soft, but you knew he was going to burst any minute now.

"I just don't know, okay Harry? I'm not sure about it," you admitted quietly.

"Having a baby is a normal step to make after 3 years, [Y/N]. You know I've always wanted a baby."

"I know, but you have to think about my feelings here too."

"We've been together for 3 years! What's there to doubt about? I love you, you love me. I don't see the problem here."

Things were starting to get a bit a heated in that moment. Harry was leaning on the kitchen counter, looking at you as if you were acting impossible. In the meantime you had crossed your arms over your chest and put your hair in a ponytail. That was never a good sign.

"You're away for almost 9 months of the year! I'm not going through a pregnancy alone, Harry. I'll need you by my side. The hate will get worse and-" Your boyfriend interrupted you immediately.

"I told you not to worry about the hate, [Y/N]."

"It's not because I don't pay attention to it that it doesn't hurt. And what about the baby, huh? We'll never be able to go out, because he or she will just be harassed by the paps! I don't want my kids to grow up like that!"

"Well, that's my life, okay? I thought you had already accepted that, but I see you haven't. It seems like it's always about you in this damn relationship! If you don't want to have a baby with me, just tell me! I'll leave!"

"Are you listening to yourself right now? I never said I want you to leave! I freaking love you, but-"

"Yeah, yeah. You love me so much, you don't even wanna have kids with me," Harry scoffed.

"Oh, go fuck yourself, Styles. I'm not in the mood to fight."

You walked out of the kitchen, rubbing your face with your hands and sighing deeply. What Harry had said, actually hurt you, but you never were one to show you felt hurt in front of other people.

Did Harry really think you were as selfish as he claimed you to be?

Was he really considering leaving just because of this?

As soon as you locked the bathroom door, tears started to stream down your face. You loved Harry with all your heart and you'd give him anything. But a baby? You still had your whole life ahead of you, so many things you wanted to do. Of course you would love to have little Harry's running around, that'd be so adorable, but it just felt way too soon.

A knock on the door made you stand still. Tears kept flowing down and you weren't sure what to do.

"[Y/N]?" Harry's voice sent chills down your spine. "I'm sorry, okay?" He waited a few seconds for a reply, but he didn't get one. "I shouldn't have said those things, I know. If you don't want a baby yet, it's fine. As long as you stay with me, I'll be fine."

Why was he always so good with words? It was really so unfair.

You slowly unlocked the door and opened it. "You called me selfish, Harry. That really hurt me," you explained, looking into his teary eyes.

"I know. I'm so sorry, baby."

"You said you wanted to leave."

You were full on crying at that point. You still couldn't believe he said those things. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close.

"I can't believe you said those things." A loud sob left your lips.

"Shhh. It's okay. I'm so incredibly sorry, [Y/N]. We'll figure something out together. We can wait." You sniffed again, breaking Harry's heart all over again. He hated seeing you cry, especially if he was the cause of it.

When you were done crying your eyes out, Harry pulled back out of the embrace and looked at you.

"I like the names Rose, Emilia and Lilly for a girl. If it's a boy I want James, Micheal or William," you sniffed, wiping your nose along the sleeve of your shirt.

The grin on Harry's face couldn't get any bigger when he heard you saying that. A baby wasn't coming yet, but you could wait. Harry just needed to have a little more patience.
