With your backpack on your back and a warm blanket tightly hugged between your two arms, you left your house.

It was close to midnight and you just hoped your parents wouldn't wake up. Sneaking out had become one of your habits these days. It's not that your parents wouldn't let you go out, but sneaking out just made everything a bit more exciting.

The walk to the building wasn't that long. You were glad you were only wearing shorts and a top, because it was extremely hot at the moment although it was already night. The sun had already faded away, but the moon made sure it wasn't too dark. Which you were grateful for. Darkness wasn't really on your list of favourite things in the world.

When you finally reached his building, excitement filled your whole body. It took you a while to get to the roof - the building consisted of 35 floors - and when you opened the door, he was already there, sitting on the edge, looking over the city you called your home.

You tried to be as quiet as possible, noticing Harry was deep in thought and you didn't want to disturb him. But of course, you had to fall over an enormous rock causing you to let out a loud scream. You quickly recovered and stood up on your feet again.

When your eyes met his green ones, a smile was tugging at his lips. "It's nice of you to finally join me," Harry teased, reaching for the blanket you were still holding. Not that you were going to need it. "Come sit with me."

Without any doubt Harry's eyes had never looked any more beautiful than under the moonlight. He smiled at you, dimples showing and he gestured for you to come sit next to him. When you were seated, Harry immediately wrapped his strong arm around your shoulder, holding you tightly and he left a kiss on your forehead. You sighed in content. Harry and you had been friends for ages and you both knew you liked each other more than just friends, but you were afraid of what to do next.

"So, did I miss anything today?" He asked, his full attention turned to you now. You started smiling when you remembered the events of the day.

"My brother took his first steps today. It was adorable."

"Hmm. I wish I was there to see it myself," the brunette sadly said.

You talked about other things that happened that day and occasionally Harry would place his hand on your cheek, softly touching the skin. No matter what your parents told you, you'd never stop seeing Harry. He made you so damn happy. You wouldn't just give up on this feeling. You loved the little meet ups with Harry when nobody knew where you were or what you were doing. Even though it had to be behind everyone's back, you enjoyed every minute of it. It were your secret rendezvous.

"Y/N?" Harry suddenly called your name, bringing you back to reality.

"Yes?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Of course."

He turned a bit, so he was fully facing you. For a moment, you both just looked in each other's eyes, wishing the night would never end and you could just sit there forever, in Harry's arms. Because honestly, that was where you belonged.

"I'm falling for you." He waited for a minute, eyeing your reaction. "Hard," he whispered, afraid you might run away after his confession. You just smiled and took his face in your hands.

"Don't worry," you placed a soft kiss on his lips, leaving him craving for more. "I'll be right there to catch you."
