SIAN's POV

The rays of the sun flowed into my room through the windows. Today is Monday. Urghh!!
I groaned at the thought. I covered my face with my duvet and had a sleep for another five more minutes.

The best part of the sleep is the sleep I fall for last few minutes...

"S...i...a...n" I heard my mom yell from downstairs.

"Yeah.... mom.... I'm already awoken.." I screamed through my sleepy voice.
It was already 8 in the morning. I was late.

Oh sh*t!

I rubbed the sleep off my eyes and jumped out of the bed.
I got into the bathroom and had a quick shower. And dried my hair under the drier. I got dressed my office attire and glided out of my home as fast as I could bidding good byes to both my dad and mom. With the morning drizzles I dragged myself hurriedly towards the bus stop. Unfortunately I missed the couch today.

''Huh.." I heaved a deep sigh. "Oh god! I just have to wait for another 30 minutes." I groaned to myself.

I was one hour late than usual.

I know I'm done today.
I will definitely get fired for two reasons.

First one, bumping into him unawares yesterday at Claire Restaurant.

Second one, being late for today's
work.

I ran hurriedly inside greeting Alex and others I met on my way.

"Hey Sian. Good morning.. You got late?" Leone asked when I going towards the pantry.

"Yeah... Leone a bit.... By the way, Is sir here?"

"Who?" He asked glimpsing at his phone.

"Mr:Parker?"

"You mean Emrys? I think yes... He came earlier than usual today."

"What?" My jaw hit the ground.

Leone's brow raised at my reaction. "Hey relax Sian... Are you scared of Emrys? Haha... you are so innocent. He is not a devil, I guess..." He said with a wide grin on his face...

Not to you. But to me.. I cursed under my breath.

"Hey I'm already late. I'll catch you up later."

"Oh.. okay. By the way, Sian if you are free tonight, can you join me for a dinner?"

"Ah.. Um.. Can I tell you in the evening. Now I'm leaving. Bye." Since I was late I went hurriedly not thinking much about the thing he said last.
