-last day in Vegas-

I wake up, seeing that there's no Mitch as usual and begin to get ready for the last day.

I pick out maroon leggings with a black studded sweater. I get my black combat boots, do my makeup, and put my hair half-up-half-down.

Mitch storms in, placing breakfast down. I grab a bagel and we start to go.

"Where are we going today?" I ask Adam while still munching my bagel.

"You'll see," he replies.

We get a taxi and get going.

When we get there, I notice it's a festival with stands and rides and all that. I sigh, I've never really liked roller coasters and crowds of people.

Once inside, we all move as a group around to different rides.

"GO-CARTS," Jason yells.

"Yes!" all the boys agree happily. Ugh, I don't like racing or cars or rides or anything.

"I'll just watch," I say.

"Camille, no way! You gotta come too!" Mitch replies.

"I don't know, that's alright."

"Mitch, she's just scared that we'd beat her ass," Max says proudly.

I choke, was he serious? We're all guys this dumb, or just the ones I happened to encounter? He thinks he'd actually beat me?

I laugh, "I could beat you in a heartbeat."

"Prove it," is spats back at me.

"Alright it's on," I reply confidently.

Mitch laughs and high-fives Max, saying 'good job.'

I brush it off and get into the go-cart. This'll be easy.

The guy says we can go, so I race down the track, cutting my corners quick and slim.

I end up winning by half a minute, as expected.

"How'd you beat me?" Max asks confused, just as he stepped out onto the track.

"I'm better then you," I say smiling.

"No, but really," he replies.

"Max, face the facts, girls are better then guys at like almost everything."

"Not everything!" He backs himself up.

"Oh yeah, like what?"

"Well," he stutters.

"I'm waiting," I say tapping my foot on the ground.

"Shut up," he says smiling, following me out to where the other guys were.

"Told you," I end the conversation walking in front of him.

He laughs and catches up, walking beside me.

We go on a couple more rides together, it's actually a lot of fun with these guys.

All 8 of us walk as a group, but Mitch slows down until he's beside me.

"Follow me," he whispers into my ear.

I look up at him, with a confused look on my face. He takes my hand and quickly leads me away from the other guys, without anyone noticing.

"Mitch what are we doing?" I ask.

"Just trust me," he answers.

He leads me around for a whole 5 minutes, until he stops at an ice cream stand.

"I promised, didn't I?"

I laugh, and follow him to the stand.

He orders two mint chocolate chip ice creams, then hands me one as we sit down on a bench.

"You didn't have to," I say.

"I know, but I wanted to, a promise is a promise," Mitch replies licking his ice cream.

We finish up and kept talking for 10 minutes one on one.

I smile just as my phone rings, "it's Adam," I say to Mitch.

I answer it, "hello."

"Uh, where are you and Mitch?" Adam asks.

I look at Mitch, confused as to what to say. I panic and pass the phone to him.

"Adam hey," Mitch says casually.

"Where are you? Why'd you leave us?" Adam asks frustrated.

"The real question is, why did all of you leave us?" Mitch replies smiling.

"Mitch, I'm done with your shitty jokes."

"Come on Adam, you're too serious, we were getting ice cream," Mitch says, "we'll meet up with you guys back at the entrance in 5."

Mitch hangs up and passes my phone back to me. We throw everything away and start walking towards everyone else.

We find them and Adam yells at us. I just laugh, before catching Max steal glances at me and I still don't know why. I didn't do anything wrong? I don't think? I sigh, not knowing what to do or say, our relationship is so twisted and tomorrow we were heading back to LA. The problem was, I didn't want to head back. I liked it here with all of them. But the good things always end too soon, right?
