Early mornings (Jungkook x Reader)

Sunlight shines through the white curtains, casting the bedroom in a warm light. The tranquil display is disrupted by the sound of the alarm, waking you from your slumber for work. Since you started working for the administer of a transport company, early mornings were no longer a rare occurrence.

Irritated and rather sleepily you slam your hand on the snooze button. A quarter to six was still way too early to wake up, especially with him next to you. The young man besides you stirred and wrapped his arms around your waist. 'Do you really need to go?' he asks drowsily. Jungkook had always hated it from the moment you started working at the enterprise you had to rise so early and leave the bed, leaving him behind to really wake up without you.

'You know I have to go, Jungkook,' you apologizingly say to him. You feel bad, since he had recently come home from his tour with the rest of BTS. You move out of his arms and rise from the bed.

'But I just came back and I barely see you, because when you're working, I'm practicing with the guys until late. You're already sleeping by the time I return and the next morning it starts all over again. (Y/N), please, stay.' His voice has a begging tone now, one you simply could not say ''no'' to. Yet you try to resist him, but fail to do so when he opens his eyes and looks at you with his dark puppy eyes.

'You're so unfair, you know that?' He could always have his way with you when he looked at you like that.

He smiles the cutest smile at your remark. 'Maybe I am, but you love me nonetheless. Come back to bed, it's too early anyhow.'

Before you started working at the concern you would rise with the sounds of the city, now it was as quiet as the grave. 'Alright,' you sigh. 'I'll call in sick today, but you owe me for this.'

His eyes have a twinkle to them. 'I think I know how to repay the favour,' he says teasingly. 'When you return, I'll make it up to you.'

'Jeon Jungkook, what are you planning to do?' you ask with a big grin on your face, your cheeks slightly warming up.

'You'll find out when you lay beside me again. Hurry up, though.'

You call your boss to take a day off under the guise of being sick. No questions are asked and soon you return to your boyfriend, who now lays shirtless on the bed. You take in his muscular form. 'You are really unfair.' Crossing your arms and clenching your teeth to fight back the heat in your face, you walk over to the bed. He pulls you onto it and pins you against the mattress.

'Now let's get even for all those past early mornings.'
