Golden yellow rays shine upon his Raven hair as Levi stands at the podium, silver eyes watching our every move. One by one our names are called out to be congratulated and warned we may die due to joining the survey corps.
"Miss (l/n) thank you very much for joining us, impressive file you have here, you've been training before you could even crawl" Erwin praised me
"Yes sir I have." I respectfully answer
"80% chance you can still die." Levi's voice rang through my ears as he peers out into the audience of just fifty, disrespectfully ignoring me
"I'm not sure if you are fully aware, I graduated at the very top of my class, I'm more than positive you'll be Titan food before they can even take notice of me." My stoic face staring into his
"Excuse me, I'll have you know I am humanities strongest" Levi stomps closer toward me
"Were ." I correct him
"Were ?" Levi raises a brow "you seem to be under the impression I am no longer owner of that title."
"Oh no you are... for now, keep using that as a conversation starter while you can, Ackerman." I reply before calmly walking off of the dirt stage
"That little bitch" Levi grinds his teeth
With a hardy laugh Erwin slaps Levi's back "you've got your work cut of for you, she'll give you a run for your money."
"The fuck she will, she better learn her place before I make her." Levi snaps a feather pen in half
"Good to know, she's on your squad"
Hanji sings
"WHAT ?"
Pushing the heavy oak doors open I can hear Levi yelling a few yards away. Snickering at how easy I can make the captain unravel in the matter of seconds I pat the dust off of my uniform. I have seen families die, friends lose loved ones right before their very eyes, my very on mother and father devoured by a fucking Titan, nothing can ever get to me, sure as hell not Ackerman. Pulling my boots off as soon as I push open the door to my room I take a seat at my small desk, resting my aching body from today's activities right before a someone knocks on my already open door.
"I'd like to show you something (f/n)" Eren Jeager stands almost in my room
Saluting him I stand "Jeager, what would that be ?"
"Call me Eren, I don't believe in that last name shit."
Nodding as I slide my boots back on and follow Eren down the hall we stop at a closet
"I over heard Levi's plans on breaking you." Eren laughs
"Breaking me ?" I raise a brow
"I'm not sure if you have noticed" Eren opens the door before motioning me in "but you and Levi aren't as different as you may think, the same to be honest, he is only harsh for the things he saw, you are only harsh for the things you saw"
"Okay, what about this closet ?" I wave my hands around in the empty space
"He doesn't care for your twin like tendencies, the deadpanned stare you share, the emotions you both lack, the smart ass sarcasm none of us pick up on yet you both understand, so he planned to break you from it, starting with cold showers, here is the faucet, he most likely will wait for you to go shower and change it to cold." Eren warns
"He doesn't have a life doesn't he ?"
"Outside Titans ? No" Eren laughs, though it was funny I still refuse to show happiness "anyway, that's all for now, the rest I'm sure you'll handle on your own."
