Levi Ackerman had never been the one to fret over a single thing however when it came to his little girl's first Christmas he would stop time just to make sure it was perfect.
"She won't even know" I snort as Levi buttons his red jacket
"Makes no difference to me" Levi waves me off as he searches for his matching red hat
"How much did this get up cost you anyway ?" I question
"I am Santa, these are my clothes not a get up f/n" Levi hisses
"So a lot ?" I tug on his sleeve
"You could say that" Levi mumbles
Walking past me and lugging a big red bag over to our Christmas tree Levi exhales. Standing in the doorway I observe the scene in front of me. Levi carefully placing present after present under the tree steadily watching Mikasa as she plays with blocks, whom pays no attention to the very handsome Santa impostor.
"F/n, she's not even looking at me" Levi sits next to the tree
"Say your infamous line"
"What are you talking about?" Frowning his brows, Levi pulls his attention from the child just a few short months shy from a year old and directs it toward me
"Say Ho Ho Ho!" I smile
"No"
"Oh cmon Santa" I plea
"No, F/n"
"Pleeeeeeease" I sing
"HOHOHO!!" Levi yells hatefully pulling the phrase into one big word as he cant take anymore of my pestering
Like a siren in the night piercing the silence Mikasa's cries startles both of us, arms flailing into the air while blocks fly through the room.
"Oh now look what you did, Santa" I tease picking up the frightened Mikasa
Huffing and standing to his feet Levi reaches out for the now sniffling baby only to make cries louder and a tiny fist to tug at my air.
"son of a -" I yell
"That's funny, you like it when I pull your hair" Levi winks
"Levi !"
"It's hopeless, I wanted our first Christmas all together to be special and it's just a big mess" frowning and sitting in his chair Levi rests his chin on the back of his hand peering into the fireplace.
Looking over at the depressed man and back at the rosey cheeked Mikasa I hatched a plan.
"Oh Santa"
"What is it now ?" Levi looks up
"Mikasa left you some cookies since you'd be famished from your trip all the way from the North Pole"
"South Pole" Levi remarked
"North"
"South!"
"You listen here you fucking burglar ass, red suit wearing, reindeer kidnapping, stranger danger, gift giving, little shit, you live at the North Pole." I point a finger toward Levi
"Okay, fuck, now what about cookies"
"I said, Mikasa left you some" I look down at Mikasa who perks up at the mention of the word cookie
"Is that so ?" Levi questions as relaxation washes over the short man, Levi knows his little angel all too well, so well that he's fairly aware cookies are her obsession at the moment
"Mhm"
Picking up a reindeer shaped cookie Levi slowly strides over toward us and that's all it took to gain Mikasa's attention, soon it was impossible to contain the child as she squirmed in my grasp. Smiling as he defeated Mikasa, Levi took her in his arms and sat in front of the tree. Taking my seat next to the two Levi hands Mikasa a big box wrapped in red shiny gift wrapping Levi's silver eyes lit up as she tore into the present, soon a warm smile tugged at his lips as Mikasa clapped her tiny hands when Dora the explorer appeared from the wrapping. Giggling at the two beside me I furrow my brows as I notice a red shirt with green letters peeking out of Mikasa's hoodie.
"Levi did you change Mikasa's shirt ?" I question as curiosity has taken over me
"No, f/n do you want to open just one present ?" Levi attempt to grab my attention
Ignoring him I lean forward and pull the zipper. Gasping as I read the text "Will you marry Santa?" I peer up at the blushing man who's now digging through the bag of presents.
"Oi, I have a gift for you, a very special one, damn elves didn't put it on top" Levi mumbles as I giggle
Pulling a small red velvet box from the bag Levi looks up at me, red dusts his cheeks as he flips open the top to reveal a diamond placed upon a gold band.
"So, will you, brat ?" Levi whispers
Jumping from my spot, I wrap my arms around his neck as my lips crash into his. Pulling me into his lap Levi's hand rests on my back as I pull away
"What took you so long ?"
"You know my policy, my first marriage is my only marriage."
"You hear that Mikasa, your mommies a policy!" I pinch Mikasa's cheek as she ignores me and plays with Dora.
Smiling down at me I take notice at the gaze and look up at the raven haired man as his Santa hat sits crookedly atop of his head. Warm hands slowly run up my neck and on either sides of my cheeks, pulling me closer as our lips once again meet, eyes slowly flutter close. Lips perfectly molding together as Levi's hands fall down to my sides, allowing a small moan to fall from my lips and into Levi's, a smirk tugs at his lips. Snaking my arms around his neck I lean closer not wanting to break away.
"I'm afraid if we keep this going i won't be able to put you on the nice list next year, love" Levi whispers
Pulling Levi to his feet I lean close, kissing up his neck and whispering into his ear
"I'll just have to risk it, besides you have a birthday present we have to attend to."
