I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing, text message.

I looked over in the dark and started slamming my hand on different areas searching for my phone. lol it was on the counter.

5:00, Happy birthday💕

Time to put the birthday plan in action!

I jumped out of my bed waking up Tikki.

"Happy Birthday Marinette!" Tikki chirped smiling.

"Thankyou Tikki!" I laughed petting her.

I walked over to the closet and grabbed three massive red suitcases and the 'plan' for my birthday.

I still can't believe it, today is the day I'm turning 16! And the day I'll be revealed to China.

I changed into a plain black top, sweatshirt, jeans and slipped on black boots, grabbed a backpack filled with accessories, jewellery and makeup and went to the door.

I looked over to where Tikki was and she was currently sitting on the counter looking at me.

"Let's go Tikki! It's time to show China who they're princess is!" I whispered to Tikki who nodded. I have to be really careful, Alya's still asleep!

Tikki flew over to me and sat in my hoody while I locked the door with my card.

I went into the elevator and walked out of the lobby and went in search for the red limousine.

Red and Navy blue are the royal colours of our nation, I like red because it reminds me of Ladybug and the Navy Blue of from our families crest.

I went around the side of the hotel and looked out for either a Blue limo or a red limousine.

So you can imagine how great full I was when I spotted a beautiful sleek 2016 model limousine, the doors graciously opened wide by the driver.

I walked up to the car and was helped in by the driver, what a gentleman! I observed the limo on the inside and was amazed by how stylish it was!

It was a mix of pink and red, had a Bluetooth speaker, fuzzy cushions and a drink/food stand. Very stylish.

I could see the driver smile in the mirror and he said in a smooth voice.

"Happy Birthday, Princess." Before passing me a beautifully wrapped package and drove onto the cherryblossom filled street.

Glancing down at my package, I noticed how pretty it was, a baby pink printed wrapping, a glossy ribbon and cotton candy and plum coloured flowers gently tucked under the sash.

I wonder who it's from? I checked a tag that was tugged near the bouquet and
nearly cried finding out who it was from.

My Grandma...

Queen/ Empress Wu Zetian. She was a Chinese sovereign and grew up Luoyang, China. She was a great leader and lead China through some tough times. I'm proud to know her as my grandma.

I unwrapped my present as gently as I could hoping not to damage or flatten out the flowers, also trying to not crease the pretty paper.

Opening the gift had made me smile, there for me was the jewellery set that she and mum had once worn on coronation.

This necklace is called the 'Heart of kingdom' and is very expensive. It is worth 14 Million dollars and was created with a real Ruby that weighs 40.63 carats and had been outlined with 150 different types of Diamonds. This necklace is usually granted to the Queens of the world.

I looked down at a pink card and opened it up revealing my grandmas cursive writing.

To my little princess,
Happy 16th birthday,
They say that this necklace has been granted with the power of luck from the previous queens.
Please treat it well and protect it with all your life.

The limo stopped and the driver got out of his seat and walked around to open my door. I looked at the castle. Even know it's 5:30 there are many other limos. Must be the Royal invites.

Opening the door I stepped out and looked at the castle, today's the day.

My birthday...

And the day I become known to the world...
