After dropping Joel off with Àngel , I headed to work .

"Good morning Miss Maraj ." , Tremaine said handing me my cup of coffee and portfolios .

"Whatever."

I set everything down as he picked it right back up putting it in there right spot .

"How was the dinner , I promised Serenity I would swing by but I never did ." , Trey said taking a seat on my desk as I got straight to work .

"It was good , I enjoyed it."

He giggled already knowing . "Why Nika aint got a man yet ?!" , he said mocking the girls .

I cracked up slapping his knee . "You know It !"

As we talked more about the dinner , Amiyaah barged in breathing deep and shit .

"Well hello to yall too !" , she said as we still sat there mugged her .

"Bitch , dont start ! Go run these down to the shoot room ." , I said throwing the folder across the table .

"After I tell you about my date !"

"Thats why you aint go to Serenity's party ?! You artifical for that Miyaah ." , Tremaine said with his feminime ass .

I busted out laughing as she rolled her eyes . Tremaine is my main assistant so he handles things out of the office but Amiyaah is mainly for just here . We've all known each other since highschool and some how ended up here today .

"Anyways , he took me to this real fancy resturant in Mannhattan then we walked around the city hand in hand , an-"

"And then yall fucked , girl go take these damn pictures !" , Trey said placing his hand in her face .

I couldnt help but crack ALLLL the way up . This is my bitch right here !

After flicking us both off , she left slamming the door behind her .

"So guess what I did last night .",  I said in a calm manner tapping my pen .

"You finally let Àngel fine ass hit that again huh ?" , he said finger combing my hair .

I rolled my eyes turning my head to look at the picture on my desk of Àngel and Joel . No doubt he was just perfect . Tall , buff , hazel green eyes , and a deep ass voice with the thick spanish accent but only if he was mad . "Girl boo , I prayed."

His eyes got big as a grin appeared on his face . "Im proud of you , can never have too much God . What you pray for ?"

I bit my lip as he looked at me concerned .

"A good man chile ." , I said covering my face .

I heard him gasp as he ran his fingers through my hair faster which was a habit of his . "Omg ! Yes Lawd !!!"

I giggled shaking my head . "So Im not weird or stupid for asking ?"

"Nooo baby , I think its a start ! You know God works in mysterious ways so I think this is good !"

"Tamieko's idea ." , I simply stated .

He nodded as we shared a laugh .

I walked down the hall paying no attention to the compliments and greetings I always got . Once I made it to the elevator , my phone rang .
