Today is the day we finalize the issue so Safaree is coming back today and since its been hectic lately , I decided to just take him to lunch and talk about it there .

Its been a whole week since I let Joel stay with Àngel but I know I would be really busy so I let him go today . I hesitated but finally gave in . If I find out another one of his bitches put her hands on my son , Im whooping ass .

"Hello Beautiful ." , Safaree said sneeking up on me .

"Hi , how are you ." , I asked standing up as we did a handshake and friendly hug .

"Good , how about yourself ?"

I took a deep sigh , if he only knew . "Im making it ." We shared a laugh as I pulled out the prototype and other papers . "Okay so here is the finished model ."

He picked it up going through his section of the magazine nodding his head . I think I agreed to him because he knows how to dress , i mean it is a fashion magazine .

"What I really fell in love with was that one day your on your Brooklyn , New York shiznit and the next your Manhattan sophisticated ."

He laughed licking his lips . "True , see you understand me . The media calls me a flip flop and confused ."

"And there stupid , I grew up in the hood too ."

We laughed talking about our childhood together and everything .

"Wait , no way ! Im Caribbean too , Trinidad & Tobago ." , I said as he laughed saying wow .

"We have ALOT in common ! I seriously dont see how people dislike you ." , he said making me giggle . The negativity doesnt phase me at all .

"Eh , there loss . Im winnin' though ."

We made it back to the building as his entourage stood there waiting for him .

"I had a really great time , and I am honored to have you on my cover ." , I said smiling at him .

"I did too . And thank you for having me , means alot ."

"Well , I'll see you around . You have a good one Mr. Samuels ." , I said as we hugged tightly and cheeked kissed .

"You too Ms. Maraj ."

With that , I headed back in getting to work .

After work , Serenity called telling me we had a little get together tonight . Im tired as hell and I just want to cuddle up with my little boy . I agreed since I havent really been spending much time with them .

"Hello ?" , Àngel said as he answered the phone .

"Hey , I was wondering if you could let JoJo stay the night , something came up ."

"Sure , a donde vas ?" , he asked as I rolled my eyes .

"Why you worried about were Im going , Joel should be who you worried about ."

He chuckled . "Dont get no attitude girl , ion mind beating yo ass ." , He said getting gangsta !

"Bye . And tell Jo I love him and to call me before he goes to bed ." , I said giggling .

"Yea , whatever . Adiós, amas sexy."

I hung up getting ready for my girls .

We all met up at AJ's place since it was closer for everybody . AJ is my quiet little munchkin ! We met our senior year since she was new to the school and all that . She's also married to football star Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys !! Her and their two daughters moved to back to New York since his trainings were here but she's going back to Texas in less than three months .
