Hello,

I'm the little voice inside your head,

without me,

what would you be?

When you hurt,

I feel your pain,

When you feel like crying,

my tears fall from your eyes,

 I know how you feel,

even when you try telling yourself otherwise,

When you are down,

I'll whisper comfort,

calming your weakened mind,

letting you know you'll be fine, 

When you are happy,

you can count on me to keep the euphoria alive,

dragging it out to last,

fending off the darkness threatening to creep up on you,

Some refer to me as being the voice of reason,

I try to steer you clear of trouble,

however I'm ignored most of the time,

replaced by the twin,

The twin will drag you down the darkest of roads,

convince you to take the risks I scream at you to avoid,

I'm ignored,

Is it because I'm boring for wanting you to be safe?

However it is, 

whomever you lose,

I will always be here inside you head,

from the day you are born 

to when you are seconds from being dead,
