At the name, Gon's expression seemed to grow a little sadder, though curiosity was still dominant in his eyes as she continued on.

"If you were there, you could have helped him. You defintely could have saved him," the boy didn't respond and she ended up filling the empty silence with her monotonous rambling, "I wanted to say something but I couldn't. I didn't want to tell him to do something that I wouldn't be able to do in his place. So, I didn't help him," Rukei dropped her eyes shamefully, "I don't know how I should face Killua."

"Do you want to see him again?"

The question sent her mind spinning; the immediate answer was 'yes' obviously, that's what she was there for, but could she look him in the eye again? She weighed them out and answered. "Of course."

And just when the silence was becoming a bit too much and she was going to fight it off with another statement, Gon broke in, "Then you should smile!"

She looked back up at the familiar statement.

"I'm sure that Killua would be happy to see that you're happy to see him again!" he reasoned, "Right?"

Rukei gave him a little nod after a couple awkward moments along with a 'I suppose so'.

She had overlooked it then, as she was busy telling herself what to say with that smile when they came to take back Killua, but Gon had saved her again.

"This will never work," Seaquant muttered after watching them attempt to push open the stupid gate, "You kids need to wake up."

Leorio stood up angrily to counter him, "In that case, you should stop watching us and do your job!"

"Gon is one of us," Kurapika stated firmly, "And he wishes to see his friend. It's only right that we should help him."

Rukei smiled lightly at the clear display of friendship. "Let's give it another try then."

There was an annoyed grunt from the man criticizing them from before, "Man, you can't just mindlessly push. You have to match your timing. You have to push both doors simultaneously with all your strength or the gate will never open."

Seaquant was as Zebro said. He wasn't a bad guy.

And just as the man said, the door opened, even if it was just a little, before blowing them back. Just a little more, a little more, and they would be on their way to see Killua.

Rukei was having a very good feeling as she stood in front of the gate with the sun shining in her eyes. She felt even better as she was allowed to remove the vest, gratefully dropping it to the ground and heading for the door.

It was opening, but they couldn't seem to get it all the way. Not like that was going to stop her from pushing on but they had come at a standstill for a bit.

That's when Gon popped in, with no white cloth around his supposed broken arm that he claimed had healed. With Gon and his secret training results, they managed to open the Testing Gate.

But when they came to a moss covered fence, a girl, not that much older than Rukei, perhaps by two or three years, stood in their path. From her uniform, Rukei could guess that this girl was a butler.

"Leave," she commanded, very straight to the point, "You're trespassing on private property. I cannot allow you to pass without permission."

Gon tried to reason, "We called ahead. And we came through the Testing Gate."

"The butlers did not give you permission to enter," the girl countered back coldly. For some reason, Rukei had a feeling that she really disliked this girl that stood in their path. The obvious reason would be that she was blocking their way, but Rukei didn't think it was as simple as that.
