As the morning sun came through the window, Christie opened her eyes. At first, she was so out of it she didn't even remember where she was. Cut off guard, she shot up in panic.

"What?! Where?!" Looking around, she found herself in a room she had never seen before. Looking towards the wall, there was a chair with a sleeveless jacket hanging on it. She recognized it right away. It was the same jacket Matt was wearing the day they first met.

"Oh yeah, I remember now. Matt showed up at the store last night and invited me over to watch movies with him and the girls. The last thing I remember was sitting next to him on the couch watching TV. I guess I fell asleep after that." Just then, she heard a strange noise. Looking down at the floor, she was surprised to see Matt sleeping next to the bed. He was sleeping on his side with his arm covering the left side of his face. Even though it was only the right half, she was finally able to get a good look at his whole face. It made her heart skip a beat. Cracking a smile, she laid back down and stared at him.

"This is the first time I've gotten a good look at Matt's real face. It's like a picture from a magazine." Her arm dangled over the side of the bed as she ran her hand over his soft long hair. Looking up, she took a look around the room.

"So this is Matt's room? It sure looks like something he'd live in. Especially all the mystery novels and pictures of guys in fancy suits. They must be detectives or something." She said looking at a large bookshelf that was full of books on mysteries. There were a couple posters hanging on the wall with pictures of men in fancy clothes. Looking down at his face, she couldn't help but blush.

"After I fell asleep, did you...carry me in here?" Her face turned bright red just at the thought.

"And then you watched over me as I slept until you fell asleep yourself." Though the thought of him watching her sleep was embarrassing, she couldn't help but smile. Looking at the side, she spotted his sunglasses laying next to him. Curious, she picked them up.

"So these are his detective glasses as Sandra called them." Sitting back up, she tried them on. They were so big, they almost fell off her face. She couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"I guess a girl would have trouble wearing glasses meant for a guy." She said as she pushed them back up. Peering through the lens, she looked around the room.

"These lens look dark on the outside, but they aren't at all on the inside. Maybe they are specially tented lenses. I can see pretty good through them." She said to herself. Looking to the side of the room, she spotted his desk. On top of the desk there were a couple pictures. One was of him, Sandra, and Greta. The other was of two small boys. Careful so as not to wake Matt, Christie climbed out of bed and sneaked over to his desk. Picking up the picture, she looked at the boys. They were both wearing costumes that looked like Sherlock Holmes. She couldn't help but giggle.

"How cute. I wonder if one of these boys is Matt?" Looking closely at their faces, Christie tried to figure out if one of them was Matt. She could tell right away that one of them wasn't because he had blond hair, but the other one.

"This...looks like..." She could hardly bring herself to speak. The other boy looked just like the boy from her past. Though it had been a long time since she had seen him, it was the one face she could never forget. She was so lost in thought, she didn't even realize Matt beginning to stir behind her. Sitting up off the floor, he rubbed his eye. Looking at his bed, he was surprised to see it was empty. Turning to his side, he spotted Christie. He was startled when he realized she still had his glasses in her hand. Reaching up, he snatched them away from her and put them back on. Christie didn't seem to notice. With his glasses securely back on his face, he stood up.
