Katie's P.O.V

Mom and Brenna started laughing and pulling faces, just being silly.
"Give." Dad took the camera and filmed them, but I started crying.
"Sounds like someone woke up." Paul smiled.
Mom got up and ran upstairs to see to me. I stopped crying and mom took me downstairs.
"Happy birthday, cutie." Brenna smiled, taking me.
Dad still had the camera, filming us.

"She'll be talking soon." Paul smiled.
"Hey, should we call you two mummy and daddy, so she can pick it up?" Brenna asked.
Mom shrugged.
"Yeah, but Paul saying daddy is scary. He's my best friend!" Dad chuckled.
"Awe. I love you too, daddy." Paul smiled, hugging my dad.
Dad laughed and hugged him back.
"We are gonna have so much fun with this." Brenna smiled.

The video cut to the next one.

"Daddy's fault!" Paul said raising his hands, as Sid's phone broke.
The guys and Stacy looked at Paul, strangely.
"I got this one!" Chris smiled, raising his hand. He looked at Paul. "Daddy?" He asked.
"We got the idea of calling Corey and Cortney, mummy and daddy, so Katie can pick it up." Paul explained with a red faced, laughing Brenna next to him.
"So Corey is daddy? I'm sorry, but that's so damn creepy. You're our best mate!" Craig said.
"How do you think I feel?!" Dad laughed, with me sat on his lap.

Everyone laughed with him and I started giggling.
"She's so sweeeeet!" Stacy cooed.
"Super daddy's girl." Dad smiled.
"That's a bonus for us. More girl nights." Brenna smiled at mom.
Mom nodded and high-5ed her.
"Thanks." Dad smiled, fake offended, looking at mom.
She just shrugged. She needed girl time!

"Do we have to call you daddy? Chris is right. It's just... awkward." Clown whined.
"You don't have to! It's just Katie is gonna be talking sooner or later." Dad chuckled.
"Good. I'm not calling one of my best friends 'Daddy'." Clown shook his head.
"Da-dah." I giggled.
"Wait, what?" Paul smiled.

Everyone looked at me, as I giggled.
"Say dada." Stacy smiled, sweetly, playing with my hand.

I looked at my hands, smiling. I turned back to the video.

"Dada!" I smiled, clapping my hands.
"It's her birthday and that's her first word!" Sid smiled.
"She's quick at this." Clown nodded.

Mom stood behind the sofa, where dad was, and smiled at me.
"Can you say Mama?" Dad asked, in a silly voice.
"Say mama." Stacy joined.
"Mam-a." Dad smiled, slowly, so I could pick it up.
"Mam-ma!" I smiled, loudly.
"Yay!" Stacy and Brenna smiled.
"She is quick at this!" Paul laughed.
"I got all that on video." Mick smiled.
"We are gonna have so much fun with that camera." Joey smiled, besides Mick.

I smiled and paused the TV. I looked at Joey. What was he like? Wonder if he missed me?
I took the video back to my mom, dad, and me. I looked at mom and smiled. Sometimes I forgot her face. She looked awesome with the blue hair.

I played the video again and stopped it on Paul.
"We miss you." I whispered.
I smiled a little and sat back on the sofa.

"Katie! Let's get your cast off!" I heard dad yell.
I smiled and took one last look at Paul. I switched the TV off, grabbed my jacket and followed dad out the house.
