Chapter 23: Confusion

Recap:

I walk into the room and see Justin in the bed writing in his song journal, he looks up and an expression I couldn't read is on his face

I run to him without even thinking and give him a hug not too tight I didn't want to hurt him

"Justin omg I'm soo sorry this happened to you, would you ever be able to forgive me??"

He looks at me confused "Ya I guess so" he says scratching his head

"But one question?"

I smile big at my beautiful boyfriend "Sure babe"

"Who are you?"

JUSTINS POV:

I feel really bad about all of this I really do, but I didn't forget Paige, I mean how could I she's perfect but recently things have been rocky and with all of this I think we needed some space

So I got everyone to go along with it, it did take some convincing cause its a cruel thing to do but I just need it for now, maybe this break will do us for the better

After I said that I saw her face fall and tears falling from her eyes

I felt awful but It had to be done

She wiped them away quickly and cleared her throat

"Umm oh umm ok I will umm be right back"

She runs off quickly

PAIGE POV:

As I'm running out of the room I think

How doesn't he remember me?

This is going to ruin everything

THIS IS ALL MY FAULT

I bump into Pattie and she sees my face and me crying hysterically

"Oh honey why aren't you in there?"

"He-he doesn't remember me"

She looks at me with guilt written all over her face

"Hold on let me go talk to him honey sit tight for a few minutes..ok?"

I nod trying to stay calm I didn't want to blow up like before... but then I couldn't get the image of not having Justin in my life, I guess I'm grateful that he's alive but.....he doesn't remember me

Pattie comes out and she looks down...

"Paige hes suffering from memory loss.. I'm so sorry but theres always hope that things will start coming back"

I take a deep breath and close my eyes trying not to break down more than I already am

I get up and walk into the room with Pattie as calm as possible

I see him laying there and he gives me a small smile

I go to him and give him a hug

He doesn't hug back

"Oh I'm sorry I know you don't remember me but I'm Paige your besets friend in the whole wide world"

I say trying to make the best of this situation

He giggles

"Nice to meet you Paige "

I sit down at the end of the bed and sit criss cross applesauce

He turns to his mom for a second

"Hey mom when am I getting gout of here? Cause I want to meet with scooter and catch up with stuff"

Pattie shrugs and heads out of the room without saying a word

That was weird idk what wrong with her but...WAIT did she just say scooter?? I could have sworn Pattie just said he has memory loss he certainly wouldn't be able to remember scooter.I guess ill just have to see

"So Paige I know it isnt fair that you remember us but I don't at all.. it must be hard, how are you feeling?"

I look him in the eyes and his face almost read guilt at curious

"Umm well I know u don't remember but before you got hurt you saw a video o foe and my ex kissing and you got upset but that was bs he kissed me and someone just videoed it just in time. Also I was running after you to try and calm you down but you weren't taking it so I locked the elevator and you bumped your head from being faint and I was just doing it out of love I know you don't remember but I thought you should know, I love you too much to even describe it in words, and I want to say sorry from the bottom of my heart, I really really love you and I hope one day we wold start a family and be together forever....but I guess dreams don't always come true"

I look down with a tear dripping down my face

I feel Justin pick my face up and wipe my tear, I lock eyes with him and see him tearing up with red swollen eyes

"Justin why are you crying"

He takes his hand back and quickly wipes his tears

"Oh oh —umm I wasn't crying- umm its just I forgive you, even though I don't r-re-re-rember, I still forgive you"

"Oh um ok then" I stand up and he looks confused

"Umm I'm gone go home for the night and sleep for at least a few hours, if you need me which I doubt you do cause you don't remember, but if for any reason you do call me"

I walk to the door and turn around and he starts laying back tired and he seemed a bit off and sad but I pushed it aside

"Ok bye Paigey"

I smile and turn around but then realize what he jus called me and whipped around really quickly

"Wait what did you call me???"

"Oh uohumm Paige- Paige, I said Paige, Bye Paige see you later" He says then shuts the light off leaving me very confused

I guess I will be having to do some thinking tonight, but for now ill try and figure out what Pattie and Justin are hiding cause I don't like this one bit

Sorry for the lame chapter but this was just a filler for next chapter 

Will Paige find out what Justin and Pattie are hiding 

if so will she ever forgive them?
