Lost in the Darkness (A Sasuke love story) Chapter: 24

"Where did she come from Jiraiya?" a cranky female voice said from above me.

"I just found her out in the woods how should I know!?" A deep voice replied.

"Sarutobi-sensai said that one of us would have to take the brat in." the female voice said. There was a moment of silence then a snake like voice replied.

"I will."  There was laughter from the deep voice and I opened my eyes. A pretty blonde woman, a white haired guy, and a pale guy with black hair. The white haired stopped laughing and said,

"No way Orochimaru. You'll probably scare the poor girl to death." The pale mans eyes narrowed and he hissed,

"And you expect me to leave her with you and have you do 'research' on her?" The white haired man blushed and pouted. The woman turned to me, blinked, then said,

"Hey, shes awake." The two men turned to us and looked me over. The black haired man kneeled down to my level and asked,

"Whats your name little girl?" His long toung flickered out of his mouth and I giggled.

"You know your toung is supposed to stay in your mouth mister." The white haired guy broke out into a laughing fit and the blonde haired woman snickered. The man in front of me narrowed his eyebrows and said,

"What. is. your. name?" I smirked at him.

"Its rude to ask someone else's name before giving your own." The white haired man laughed harder and the black haired man's eyebrow twitched.

"My name is Orochimaru. The idiot is Jiraiya and the woman is Tsunade. Now whats your name?" I looked at him and smiled sweetly.

"My name is Zara." His face softened a little and he said,

'"Wheres your family Zara?"  I remembered what happened and tears ran down my little cheeks.

"N-Nii-nii *sniff* killed t-them. I was t-the only one w-who got away. They're all gone Oro-chan!" I clung to his vest and cried. The laughing stopped and they all started at me. I felt his arms wrap around me and pick me up. He held me on his hip and said,

"Shhhh its alright. Your going to come live with me.. Is that alright?"  I looked up and him and nodded. He smiled softly and we all made our way to the leaf village.

*End flashback*

Sasuke P.O.V

Zara dropped to her knees and let out loud sobs. Whatever this girl did to her obviously had an effect on her. Big time. I tried moving. It didn't work. I slowly reached to my kuni pouch and pulled one out. I stood up but that was the most i could move.

"Very good." The girl pulled out three kuni and walked towards us. "Don't worry ill make it quick. But i don't have to tell you that do I? You've seen it with your own eyes." She rose her kuni and said,

"I expected you to be more of a challenge.How disappointing." She threw the kuni and instead of the three heading for all of us, they all went right for Zara. My eyes widened and I did the only thing I could do. I stabbed my leg with my kuni and once I was able to move again I grabbed the girls and got out of there. Sakura snapped out of it and said,

"Sasuke!" I looked towards Zara and saw that she was still crying. Sakura looked at her too and gasped.

"Zara-onee-chan! A-are you alright?" Zara remained silent for a second before whispering.

"I cant do this.."

"W-what?"

"I cant fight, I-I have to leave, I-I" Then Sakura did the thing I least expected her to do.
