P.O.V Peter Pan

I pushed away from my desk in frustration, knocking over a vial or two in the process. All of my plans to save Eleanor had such fundamental flaws they would get us killed. I was beyond irritated at how utterly careless I was being. I could- no, the boys couldn't afford careless plans that would kill us all. Eleanor couldn't afford it.

I picked up a vial, swirling the glass and the contents before throwing it at the far wall with a yell. It shattered and the contents of the vial splattered against the wall.

If we ambushed the castle, word would spread too quickly for us to actually take the Queen and her guards by surprise. If I went in alone, I wouldn't have the distraction I would need to get to Eleanor.

Why couldn't I devise a plan? Why couldn't I save her?

P.O.V. Eleanor

I cried out, pain engulfing my chest. I stared up at the Queen, my face visibly showing not only shock, but anger and pain.

She smiled evilly down at me, then to my heart, glowing in her hand. "Oh my dear Eleanor," she gleamed down at the delicate organ in her hand then shaped her fingers on her other hand.

I dropped to the ground, spell broken. I immediately broke the bonds from my hands and conjured a ball of fire as I stood. A burning sensation suddenly spread through my body and I screamed, falling to my knees. I clutched my chest where the sensation started and looked up at the Queen.

Her smile had fallen and she was slightly squeezing my heart. She moved my heart close to her mouth and spoke. "You will never use your powers against me and you will never turn on me, my darling Eleanor. Now," she turned her head down to me with another grin, "you're going to someplace you'd never expect."

P.O.V Peter Pan

Suddenly, a knock came at the entrance, breaking me out of my thoughts and a voice came with it. "Pan, we have an issue," Felix said, worry laced his words.

"With what?" I asked pinching the bridge of my nose, visibly irritated.

"It's better if you just go see for yourself." I groaned but gestured for him to lead me to the issue he spoke of. I followed him to the edge of the forest to the north side of the island and he pulled a large fern leaf out of the way, holding his arm out for me to lead. "I'll leave you to it."

I stepped onto the beach to see the white hot sand, the crashing waves, and the rocky shoreline on the far end of the beach. Nothing seemed to be of any issue. I glared back at Felix opening my mouth to speak, but he pointed something out before I could speak. He pointed me over to a something in the sand near the rocks, and I made my way towards it. As I got closer it looked to be someone lying in the sand under a cloak. Eleanor's cloak.

I broke into a sprint, falling to my knees and nearly ripping the cloak off of her. When I looked down again, it wasn't her. Just a pile of rocks meant to look like someone lying in the sand. And a note.

"Game on, Peter Pan."
