Chapter 11

Jessie POV

As everyone came in they all looked at me.

I clutched on to Newt, as all the keepers finally made it.

'OK you shuck faces, this is Jessie. My sister.' Newt said looking down at me

'Your sister?' One of the keepers I didn't know said.

'Yeah. You see Jessie has her memories.' Newt said as everyone started talking at once.

I blocked my ears and closed my eyes waiting for the boys to stop talking.

'IF YOU ALL DONT STOP TALKING EVERYONE WILL SPEND A NIGHT IN THE PIT WITH NO FOOD!' Alby screamed.

Suddenly they all stopped talking.

I stood on the chair and whispered in to Newts ear.

'Did you read my note?' I asked looking at Newt

'Yeah but some of it was destroyed.' He said

'Did you get the part where I said I thought I knew the way out.' I said looking at him

Suddenly Newt grabbed me and everyone in the meeting room looked at us as we walked out.

Newt ran to the homestead and ran upstairs and went into a room with medical equipment and a few beds.

He put me on the bed and he grabbed a chair and sat infront of me.

'Tell me everything.' He said. And  I started from the begining

I talked about us in the compound

How he was Taken from me

How all my friends were being put into the maze

About Teresa teaching me to read and write

About about Teresa going into the maze

About over hearing the way out of the maze

About the note

And last of all, about coming to the maze

Newt seemed very surprised about everything I said.

'Wait so the way out of the maze is the greiver hole?' He asked as I nodded

'I over heard the guards say that.' I said sounding certain

'Ok well I will get the runners to check that out tomorrow. But right now we gave to go eat lunch.' He said

Suddenly Winston ran into the room and said something that made me run out of the room

'The girls awake!!!!'

As soon as I reached the treehouse thing we have I saw all the guys hiding under planks of wood as rocks flew from up there.

I hid under one of the woods the guys were holding as Newt came and stood next to me.

'If you throw a nother one of- ouch!' Gally said as a rock hit him square in the head. I giggled

Suddenly Thomas screamed his name and the rocks stopped. Finally I saw Teresas head as Thoams climbed up the ladder, telling Teresa he was coming up.

'Ok back to work!!' Alby screamed as everyone walked back to the designated places.

'Is that how all girls are?' Frypan asked me, as he walked off.

I just giggled.
