Okay, so I just finished watching Fifty Shades Darker. I'm giving it a 50-50. If you're going to compare it to the book, it's not that great. They didn't let Ethan be there. (Ethan as in the one in the Fifty Shades book - he's the brother of Katherine. It's a coincidence that I have a fictional character named Ethan, I just thought of this now omg) My favorite scene was when Christian Grey kneels like a submissive. They should've done it like in the books. But anyway, this move is much better than first movie.
Anyway, that's just my opinion. Don't kill me for it. Please. I'm just a writer.
Carry on to the next chapter.
Better get ready though.
This is a short chapter but juicy.

Reese
It's four in the morning. I'm cold at a park, sitting on a swing, just feeling the breeze pass through me. The sky is usually clear and the sun is already rising but for some reason, the sun isn't still rising, the sky is clear pitch black, and there are no stars shining. I think this is a beautiful scene.
"Well, you're early."
I jump from my seat, ready to strike at whoever was behind me. I relax a little bit when I see Garry behind me, hands on the pockets of his sweater that read "F YOU" and hoodie up to his head.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I hiss.
He puts his hand out, lowering it down. "Relax, I won't do anything to hurt you. I just need to talk to you, Reese. I'm the one that texted you."
"Of course," I breathe out, letting my ass fall on the swing. "why would I panic about my step-brother beating me up and acting like we aren't related?"
I can hear the hitch in his breath. I know that he knows who I am. I am not just somehow that goes to the same school as him. No, I am his stepsister and his mother let him be at that school to look after me.
He sits down on the other swing beside me, a small frown in his face. "How'd you find out?"
I just stare at the sky this time, feeling the darkness of it entrance me. "I'm not stupid. I knew you weren't just bullying me physically and verbally because I was ugly, freak, or unpopular. No, you had to be my stepbrother. You had to be at the school where I was going because your own mother didn't want to bother herself getting close to me so she had to let her stepson do that for her. I'm guessing she doesn't know all the things you did to me?"
He's silent.
"Figures," I chuckle. "I don't even know why your mother sent you here. It's not like I couldn't take care of myself. The only fucking reason I haven't shoved your face into the ground is because I know you're my stepbrother and that your mother wouldn't like that. I feel sick even saying the word 'stepbrother.' Like, I'm used to calling you 'Douchebag One'."
I can see him shaking his head from the corner of my eye. "I didn't want this to happen either. You think I wanted you to be my stepsister? You?"
"You think I wanted that too?" I snap, not bothering myself to look at his arrogant face. "Is this why you stole Jay's phone and texted me一to tell me that we're step-siblings and that you hate me? Because if this is it, I already got the picture the minute your fist landed on my face. Now, get the fuck away from me Garry. The only reason I never told anyone一including the Mason's一we're step-siblings is because I'll be embarrassed."
I face him, narrowing my eyes at him. "Don't let it slip out accidentally from my mouth."
He sighs, closing his eyes and rubbing the back of his head in irritation. "I'm not here to talk about us sharing the same parent一"
I scoff. "She is your parent. Not mine. Tell that to her also when she sings you a goodnight song."
"一I'm here to talk about Jay," he finished, ignoring what I had just said. When I furrow my brows at confusion at him, he just shakes his head. "If you think I'm bad, then wait for Jay. He's the worst of all of us. You don't know him, Reese. You have to be careful about him. I know you trust him because he's helped you a lot of times but一"
He's accusing Jay of lying to me and being the worst among of them. Jay had no choice but to join Garry in his flock in order to not be bullied. He talked to me about this two years ago.
I understand him and he understands me. We were friends outside of the school and their group. We would be here in this park sometimes when we have something to tell to one another when we couldn't say it to our friends.
No one never knew we were friends. Many were suspicious about where I was going when I would meet up with him. Take Uncle Mason for example, he got suspicious of me because when they would always check my room if I was sleeping, I was always gone.
He tried to get me followed but since my best friend's mother is one of the best tracker snd fighter in the world, I knew how to do it.
So I lost all the men that he hired and no one just knew where I was.
All that time they were looking for me, I was with Jay having a pizza and having fun.
So for Garry一the person that bullied me when he knew we were step-siblings一to talk down to Jay and whine it about me and spread fake things about him, it's ridiculous.
I can't help it but I laugh.
Garry stops talking and tilts his head with his eyes glaring at me. "You think this is funny?"
"It is funny!" I cry out, holding my stomach. "You think you can get me to stay away from Jay! Nice job, stepbrother, but I think I'd rather trust Jay than you. He never did anything to me. You did. So, I think I'll go now."
As I'm about to stand up, his hand shoots out and grabs my wrist, stopping me. "Don't say I didn't warn you."
I jerk away from his grip. "Fuck off, Garry. Don't talk to me every again and I keep everything a secret."
I start to walk away from him already, not wanting to have to discuss this anymore.
"Reese!"
I turn, frustration seeping through me. "What?"
Then I saw something in Garry's eyes that I have never ever seen before. It made me be confused a lot more about everything that's going on around me. This was going to be a complicated situation. I just know it.
The expression in his eyes gave away his concern and worry. It was so unlike him because all I saw in his eyes were blank or angry.
I can understand the anger but this? Concern and worry for the girl he never even liked?
Maybe he is telling the truth.
"Mom wants to see you," he says, calmly. "Maybe you should stay with us for a while until everything is solved."
