The world felt like a buzz for Aaron. A moment ago, his team stole a helicopter to escape the wrath of a criminal associate with dangerous connections to Talon. As his senses came back, he picks up he was no longer on the helicopter, he is sitting down on the wet ground in the middle of a beautiful green forest, his back was against a moist tall tree. As the masked soldier scans the area filled with tall damp trees, he spots Barnes digging through the helicopter while Atticus and Apollo sort out what their field officer managed to dig out into several different piles. Soon, Atticus spots the dazed operative moving his limbs left and right.
"He's up." Atticus calls out to Barnes before turning to Aaron. "Get up and help us sort out supplies. We need to be ready for anything."
Aaron nods once, not wanting to speak now. As he picks himself up, he spots his M4-A1 rifle among the piles of items such as knives, food, bullets, weapons, and length of climbing cable. As he straps his rifle to his back, he stretches out his limbs. Then, he finally spoke to Barnes.
"Where the hell are we?" Aaron asks in frustration.
As Barnes drags the mercenary pilot out of the wreckage, she turns around and spoke to the team. She looked worried as she inspects the pilot's vitals.
"I don't know. But I bet they are going to send a team to inspect the wreckage for 'survivors'." She says sarcastically. They knew in their heart neither Talon or Hakim weren't taking prisoners today. By now, surrendering isn't an option. Talon would take the four members of the Navy SEAL team and execute them to demonstrate that the world powers cannot stop the international terrorist organization.
"What makes you think they aren't going to hunt us down after what we did to their associate? They invested a lot of money, time, and resources to steal a bomb like that from our government." Apollo says as he slips on his brass knuckles.
"We've destroyed Talon's foot soldiers more times than we can count." Atticus points out. "They are not as specialized in wilderness survival as we are. I doubt they can find us, we are in the middle of a large forest that neither the enemy nor us are familiar with. By the time they find us, we'll be long gone."
The operators nod in agreement. Apollo spoke out. "I agree with Grief. What is our plan of action?"
"We get as far away from the helicopter as possible." Atticus adjusts his red sunglasses. "Then, we'll move out of the forest from the shadows. The plan is to get out of here before Talon finds us, which wouldn't be too difficult."
Barnes nods once in agreement before turning to her team. "Lead us the way, Grief."
The operatives continue moving forward, traveling through the forest filled with clean blue streams, non-aggressive wildlife, and challenging terrain. As they continue sneaking their way out of the forest, Atticus takes the moment to whisper a comment.
"Man, I cannot get enough of this." Atticus whispers calmly. "It's so beautiful."
Apollo glances at Atticus back with a weird expression. "You have traveled around the world and yet you take the time to comment on what is out there?"
Atticus shrugs. "Well, we are not in the middle of a mission. We completed it a long time ago. It's up to us to find a way out by calling in air support... Or we die in the middle of heaven on Earth." He says as he scans the area around him.
As they continue venturing forward, they stop in place as they spot something they couldn't push through. A wide and deep river body was blocking their path forward, stretching far in both directions. SEAL Team six stops moving and surveys the obstacle in front of them. The river stretched far on both ends, making it cost a lot of time to find a way around the large river body.
