-Safehouse-

The American operators head down for the hallway for the kitchen while the clang and clash of pots and pans echo. Entering the mess hall, they were welcomed by a different scene. Before, the mess hall was mediocre and dull, lacking excitement in the air. Now, the room looked like it just renovated as white cloths drape over the long brown wooden table, the stools replaced with folding chairs gathered from the archives and offices of the shipment house. From the kitchen to the left of the room, steam and the sounds of plates escaped from the small, but wide service area.

"Wow, this is new." Dimitri comments quietly. "And really fancy."

"I bet it's set up to resemble his famous restaurant." Frank notes "All it is missing is a camera crew."

The kitchen door opens, letting out the famous chef, Glen Thatcher. His widen and grins a little as he spread his arms wide.

"Well, I see you four found yourselves here." Glen greeted.

Chloe smiled and sets her attention to the celebrity chef. "I like what you're setting up here. So, what's cooking?"

"I'll get to that in time. Right now, all of the volunteers are cooking what they are familiar with to get a feel of what I'm working with." Thatcher answered. He checks his watch before returning his attention to the squad. "In the meantime, relax in the lounge or take care of what's important. Liam will fetch you and the rest when we are ready."

"Alright then." Chloe says as she signals the rest to follow suite.

The four head out of the mess hall and went for the lounge. Entering the room, it grew quiet as the survivors who decided not to join were leisurely doing many things. Ted Kent was sitting on a table, typing and scrolling on a lap top. The kids; Alex, Kristy, and Shay were having a conversation in the room as Emmet sat comfortably on a couch, watching the over the three as if he were a parent monitoring his own children play on the playground. His head turns to the military squad entering the room and greets them a wave with his better arm and a smile.

"Hey Emmet," Chloe greeted. "How is the arm?"

"It's getting a lot better, thank you." The police captain replied. "Keira and Glen were great help."

"Wow, so its good as new?" Frank asks with a bit of bewilderment in his tone.

"Yeah, you can say that." Emmet says as he moves his once injured arm a little. "All they did was twist the limb to the right place."

"Wonderful." Frank says. "I'm just glad everything is ok. Also, thanks for helping us out."

"I'm just doing what I can to help." Emmet says. "It's my home after all and I took an oath to protect and serve, however I can.

The rest of the group nod. Aaron's eyes wander the room a bit before they spot a tablet and a sketchpad on the table. He heads over and checks it out, only to be greeted by a small collage of colorful and eye pleasing artwork. The first image was a thin, but busty silver haired girl with a blue tank top and black leggings. The drawn character was a skilled assassin with a unique name; Azlyn. The next was a stocky black man, wearing a sky-blue t-shirt and jeans with a name as Lyes. The last image Aaron glanced was another girl. This time, she had long black hair that curled, along with a light tan, round face, and eyes that a bit bigger than normal and had different colored pupils. The left iris was bright green while the other was dark blue. She was a hacker known as Serena.

Aaron turns around and asks to the room quietly. "Whose tablet is this?"

Emmet sits up and glances at Aaron for a moment. "I believe that's hers... what's her name." He scratches her head and tries to think hard of her name."
