-Day 17 of The Uprising-

From the platform of the construction site of an unfinished suspension bridge, Emmet leans against the railing that provided a great view of the compound. He adjusts the scope's lens for a clear image. The unfinished suspension bridge stretched far next to the compound, granting a great view of where Null Sector is holding their most important hostages, ones that will give the extremist a bigger voice. There were many railings all around the long platform of the bridge, allowing Emmet many angles of attack. Frank continued scanning the place, measuring out its strength and on the lookout for any weak points.

Behind the four-thick tall concrete walls surrounding the former base came with searchlights, guards of either omnics or humans patrolling the grounds to continue marching on for a deluded goal. Stolen military vehicles enter in and out of the fortress through one of the two heavily guarded checkpoints. Emmett lowers his view finder and shook his head a couple of times.

"This place is massive." Emmet muttered to himself. He turns to Frank, sitting nearby as he writes down and calculates the distance and windspeed on a piece of paper. Frank was a spotter for Delta snipers on several occasions, as his great math skills gave snipers the correct calculations to take their shots. He continues scanning the area.

"What are we looking at?" Emmet asks as he adjusts the knob on his scope.

"A small number of hostile forces with high end military gear." Franks says as he makes note of the various types of infantry personal ranging from snipers to soldiers carrying rocket launchers to bulky armored soldiers carrying light machine guns. This was more than what Emmet and the American operators were expecting from The Synth.

"They look better trained and better equipped than what we have seen out here. This isn't going to be easy." Frank reaches into his radio and reports what they saw. He received few words from the other side before it shuts off.

Emmet shudders a little as he inspects the highly equipped army. Emmet's head moves away from the scope and glances at Frank. "This is insane. Shouldn't you have tagged along to support them?"

Frank scowls at Emmet. "And leave you vulnerable for the enemy to overrun you? Not a chance."

Emmet says nothing else after that and started marking the snipers in the area, stationed on several rooftops of the military base. As time passes, the radio lets out an update.

"Atticus, we've made our way inside the base." Barnes reports. "We are in a vehicle depot at the west side of the compound."

Frank glances at a lot several yards away to the left of his position. The lot was fenced in and isolated from the shipping docks to secure the vehicles. His attention was focused as a pair of militia fighters hop out of the truck.

Seconds later, two stowaways appear on left and right side of the vehicle as they roll out from the bottom of the truck. They pick themselves up from the ground and stalked behind the passenger and driver. The first figure pulls out a pistol fires a single shot to the head, producing little sound as the driver fell forward. The other shoves the passenger against the side of the vehicle, knocking his target on the ground before finishing him off with several heavy punches. Then, a third figure slides out of the trunk. Emmet can see the third figure looking directly at him before giving a thumb up.

"They're in." Frank says to Emmet. The SWAT officer remains stunned as he witnesses Aaron and Dmitri looting the driver and passenger and stripping them off their uniforms before heaving the corpses off to the disposal. What the two were doing were beyond the routines Emmet was used to. Then, the two rallies up with Chloe at a secluded place. She grabs her transmitter and radios in.
