-Chapter Thirteen-

Two months had past since Calum and I had made up and although our relationship wasn't official yet, we still treated each other as if it was.

My feelings for Calum had taken a big place in my heart right beside my nerves for admitting it. I was almost positive that Calum and I shared the same feelings for each other but, I couldn't help but fear being the first person to confirm it.

However, as much as I desired to be with Calum, I also couldn't help but feel slightly guilty because Calum was Annette's and I was in no place to change that. I never knew Annette but as I said many times before, I felt that I needed to know her and that some how I did.

"Fay?" My mother waved her hands in front of my face, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah-sorry, what did you say?" I asked.

"I said that your aunt's wedding is tomorrow and you still haven't picked out your dress!" My mother repeated with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Oh my god, I totally forgot-I haven't even got anyone to go with yet." I groaned sinking deeper into my chair into a more comfortable position.

"Why don't you ask Calum?" My mother suggested, "he's a nice boy.."

"Mom we're not dating." I sighed.

"You don't have to be dating, it's like inviting your friend!" My mother smiled.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged, "I guess I could ask him."

My mother grinned, "I would love to see you two together, you know?"

"Mom.." I warned.

My mother raised her hands in surrender and laughed, "I was just saying!"

"Mom..." I repeated.

"You know I talked to Joy the other day, such a nice woman. She even told me that she was trying to get Calum to invite you to hang out but he was to embarrassed." My mother chuckled.

"Okay, I'm going to go ask him now and I swear if you screw it up-" I started.

"I won't, I won't."  My mother cut me off.

I sighed with relief before walking into my bedroom and pulling out my cellphone.

Then, after about 5 minutes of thinking of the pros and cons of calling Calum, I dialed his number and hit call.

"Hello?" A muffled voice spoke on the other end of the line.

"Hey, Calum?" I said. "It's Fay."

"Oh hey fairy girl." Calum laughed.

"Shut up before I change my mind." I groaned.

"Change your mind about what?" Calum chuckled.

"Okay so, I was just wondering if you want to come with me to my aunt's wedding but like, you don't have to. I mean it was my mom's idea so yeah." I muttered.

"Yeah, yeah! That'd be cool." Calum said into the phone. "Okay yeah, thanks for agreeing um-it's tomorrow so yeah. I mean get ready by six and we'll be there by seven to get you." I said into the phone.

"Sounds like a plan." Calum laughed.

"Yeah, I'll see you." I smiled.

"Okay bye, see you." Calum agreed.

I hung up my phone and rested it beside me, feeling myself loosen up a bit now that Calum had accepted.

Maybe inviting Calum was a good thing and that it would turn out all right.

Or maybe inviting Calum was a horrible idea and everything would suck.
