Chapter 12

"Hannah get out of bed mam wants you to go wake Brook"Cruz said shaking me from my sleep.
"Could you go wake him for me?" I asked
"Why can't you? Have you fell out with him?" He asked.
"No it's just I'm tired and I need to get ready To take you to school" I lied, I mean I didn't want to drag a eight year old into my problems. It isn't his fault I'm not talking to Brooklyn.
"Oh okay" he said skipping out

I went and put on some clothes, today was Friday and me and Leah would be having a eventful day. Just some 'light' shopping for a few hours. I got my bag ready and clipped my hair up before leaving to take the kids to school.
The long walk was awkward and quiet. I held Harper and Cruz's hands while Romeo and Brooklyn walked I front of us. I still hadn't spoke to Brooklyn but he hadn't spoke to me either so I guess were even and I'm defiantly not going to be the first one To talk.
"Well this walk is awkward, isn't it just?" Romeo said
"No not really" I said acting like there's nothing wrong
"Really? So why aren't you and Brooklyn talking? Yous haven't spoke all morning!"he said
"Yes we did" brooklyn lied
"No you didn't, did they?" He asked Cruz
"Well is was a nice walk but look this is harpers stop so well have to stop this conversation" I said quickly. I quickly took Harper I to school and told her teacher I might be five minutes late when it was home time. I quickly walked the boys down to their school and took them in to the playground and made sure they were safe before leaving to go meet Leah at costa. At the gate Brooklyn was waiting, I don't know what for.
"Umm I'm not being rude but what are you waiting for?" I asked walking up to him
"Umm nothing I'm just gonna got off to school" he said
"Yeah meet me here I might be a bit late tho" I said before he walked off in a huff.

I sat down at the table in Costa where Leah was waiting and sighed.
"What's the problem?" Leah asked
"Nothing I'm just a but tired to be honest, I've got a hockey match tomorrow but we I didn't go to practice lastingly because I had something happen so I don't know what's happening and I'm tired" I said taking a huge gulp of my smoothie.
"Well let's go I can't wait to get out of this horrid weather for a week or two" Leah said standing up and tucking her chair in

After three hours of shopping we went to macdonalds with our many bags and ate dinner.
"What are we gonna do with all these bags?" I asked eating a chip
"I don't know, but I do know that we can't Carry them around for another three hours. My wrists feel like there about to drop off now!"
"I could call mike but he's out with David." I said "hang on I'll call Brad and see if he can get Tris to come pick them up" I said getting my phone out.
."hey Brad, what is Tris doing right now?" I said
"Umm I don't know, Tris what are you doing?" He answered
"I'm trying to see if Rex can fly" I could hear him shout
"Could I have a favour? I asked
"Um sure what?"
"Could you and Tris come pick mine and Leah's bags up and take them to my mam and dads?" I asked crossing my fingers
"Sure, Tris put Rex down we're going to see hannah!" He said
"Were at the big macdonalds in Main Street, okay?" I said
"I got it, see you soon" he said hanging up

After we loaded the bags into the car and I gave them directions to my mam and dad's place me and Leah went to Victorias office for that meeting thing.

"So do yous like the clothes?"Victoria asked showing us pictures. Me and Leah looked at each other and pulled a 'ehhh' face. "I take that as a not really then?"Victoria said
"They look great and all but they wouldn't really suite us" I said
"Yeah I suppose, maybe next season or something?" Victoria asked
"Yeah we could come look at the clothes for next season" Leah agreed
"Hey Hannah" Victoria shouted while we were walking out the door. I turned back to see what she wanted "do you know why Brooklyn was down this morning?" She asked
"No, I don't sorry" I said shrugging.
"Oh okay thanks for coming its a shame you didn't like the clothes" she said "well I'll see you at home" she said

At 2:00 I got a call from Brad.
"Hey can me and Tris hang out with you and Leah?" He asked
"Um sure why not were at Costa next to marks and Spencer's"
"We'll be there in ten bye" he said hanging up

We went to pick Harper up, just me Leah and Brad. Tristan had to go do something important or something. Miss tulip wasn't in a good mood when I went to collect Romeo.
"I don't know why there's a kid taking care of four kids" she muttered as Romeo ran out and hugged me.
"Excuse me? It's non of your business what I do or who Vic and Dave hire to take care of their kids. And for the record I'm not a kid who dropped out of school, I do online schooling and no I'm not some random I've known David and Victoria all my life" I snapped
"Well it's defiantly a kid with anger issues" she retaliated
"Well I'm sorry but I'm sure if you were in my place you'd snap because that's disrespectful and rude to say something like that" I said walking of to the door where Cruz came out of. Luckily for me miss potter was in a good mood and she wasn't a bitch. "Erm Hannah, can I have a word?" She asked as I went over to help Cruz with his bags.
"Her Cruz go wait with Leah for a minute"I said sending him off "sure what's the problem" I asked
"Cruz hasn't been putting 100% in today and when I asked he said he was worried about you and brooklyn not being friends or something" she said
"Oh well I'll ask why he was worried, I'll sort it tonight. Thanks for telling me I really appreciate it" I said

Leah was helping Cruz tie his shoe and Romeo was blabbing on about a football match when Brad graded my hand and started skipping pulling me along with him so I joined in skipping over to the gates and back to Leah who was making her way to the gates with Ro and Cruz. As we were making our way back to the gate, this time walking with Leah, Brooklyn entered the gates with a huge smile plastered on his face. He seen me and Brad were holding hands and his face dropped. As we met him I said hi cheerily so did Brad and he gust grunted something that resembled a hi.
"Hey Hannah want a piggy back?" Brad asked.
"Sure, can you carry my bag someone" I asked. Romeo was the first to grab it. I hopped in brads back and he ran to catch up with Leah, harper Brooklyn and Cruz. "Hannah can we get some ice cream?" Cruz asks
"Sure thing, should we eat it in the park?" I asked. Brad Cruz Harper and Romeo cheered.

*at the park*
"Last one down the slide is smelly" I shouted charging to the slide. Leah sat on the bench with all the school bags while me and Brad played with Romeos Cruz and harper on the slide and Brooklyn was sat on a swing just gently swinging. Brad got up and went and sat on the swing next to him.

*Brooklyn's POV*

I've been in a mood all day, I don't want to be but I just am. Hannah promised to talk to Jen today and try to sort things out but she didn't turn up. I waited at the gates making sure Jen didn't leave but she didn't turn up and when it got to Romeo and Cruz's school she was with Brad! Fair enough if she forgot to come but seriously hanging out with Brad skipping around hand in hand!?! Can she not see that I like her?
"Hi Brooklyn"Mr hey both said in unison I just grumbled a hi and walked on and the next time I look back she's on brads back and they're running and laughing! Just rub salt into the wound why don't you?!?

At the park I was sat on the swing just watching hannah run a round with Romeo and Cruz cashing after her when Brad came over and sat on the swing next to me.
"Whats up?" He asked
"Nothing" I said making this awkward situation even more awkward
"Right so if nothing's up you'll come and play with us then?" He said
"Um sure I'll be over in a minute" I said. I can't wIt to get home and go up to my room so I won't have to talk to anyone.

When I went over they were playing tag so I joined in. Romeo was 'it' so we ran away from him. I was carrying Harper so she had a fair chance. "It's not fair, I don't want to play this game anymore" Romeo twined after he couldn't catch anyone.
"What do you want to play Ro?" Hannah asked going over and crouching to his height
"Hide and seek and you count" he said running off
"1...2...3...4...5..." She started so we ran to hide. Me and harper hid under the slide. It wasn't half a task to keep Harper quiet tho!
"Ready or not I'm coming" Hannah shouted. I could hear footsteps coming closer. "Boo!" She said scaring me a little
"HANNAH, BRAD, BROOKLYN, ROMEO, CRUZ, HARPER!" Leah shouted
"C'mon I think we have to go" Hannah said

Sorry it's been late update but I was so busy yesterday with my valentine!
Yeah I spent it with my horses if that counts, idk!

I've had a sore wrist so I couldn't really type during the week because one of my friends slammed it between two chairs :/ but now I can Type :)
