The next morning Buffy woke up startled as she was not lying next to her lover.

'Spike!' Buffy yelled 'oh my gosh please, that better not have been a dream'

'Spike!' Buffy ran out the room to where the others were sleeping.

'Have you guys seen Spike!?'

'What no? We have been asleep' Xander said

'But it wasn't a dream right he is here!?' Buffy panicked

'Yeah Buff' Xander replied

Buffy ran down stairs into the basement maybe he went down there for a smoke.

'Spike!!' Buffy yelled making the corridors echo

'Spike...' she said with sadness in her voice

'What's wrong pet?' Spike asked coming out from the deep darkness

'Oh Spikey, where did you go? I thought you left, you scared me'

'Love, it's day time that room we were in had big windows the sunlight poured in, I'm sorry sweet heart I didn't mean to scare you'

'Ohh! How stupid of me, I'm so sorry baby'

'Don't be pet' Spike held Buffy's hands and looked deep into her eyes, and then kissed her long and hard, Buffy smiled and pulled him into a tight hug, a very tight hug,

'Buffy! Can't breathe!' Spike yelped

'Oh sorry! I didn't think you had to breathe?' Buffy questioned

'Well, no, not really, still you know what I mean'

Buffy told Spike she would be back soon, she ran up stairs to get everyone organised.

'Alright!' Buffy said once she got upstairs 'let's get organised!'

'Yes, I guess everyone can go home, since most of you didn't live in Sunnydale' Giles mentioned 'So we will take you all to the airport, and I guess I will go back to England'

'Willow you will come live with me right?' Xander asked he had no one else really

'Yeah, of course Xand and Buffy and Dawnie? If they want we can have a slumber party all the time.' Willow answered

'Yessss! I would love that Willow!' Dawn said squeezing Willow in a big hug

'And Spike?' Buffy questioned

'Of course Buff, we can be a family' Dawn replied 'I love hanging out with Spike'

Giles hired a cab and waited to take all the girls, Principal Wood, Andrew and Faith to the airport.

'So you wont come with me Willow!? How could you!' Kennedy complained

'I am sorry but no, I need to be with Xander and Dawn and Buffy, my family and you need to be with yours' Willow replied

'Whatever then' Kennedy snapped

Buffy said goodbye to the girls, and to Giles, his hug and goodbye being a little bit longer.

'I love you Giles! You are like a father to me and I will miss you so much! We must catch up a lot!' Buffy said a bit teary

'Ohh Buffy, of course! I love you too!' Giles replied trying not to show his tears.

The cab pulled away from the curb and drove off, leaving dust behind it.

'Just us then ey?' Xander said

'Guess so, our happy little family' Willow replied

Buffy smiled and hugged them both and they all went back inside, Spike was in there with Dawn, it must of been dark enough for him to come out, Buffy thought.

'Hey Pet, so what now?' Spike asked.
