Chapter 10

The sun rose over the boat and all 5 scoobies woke up, all the curtains were drawn and not to be opened. Dawn showered and said she was going for a walk around the boat, Buffy gave Willow a look as she did not like Dawn going off by herself.

'I'll come, hang on Dawnie' Willow called after Dawn

'Oh okay Will' Dawn replied

Buffy didn't get up as she was tired from last night, so she went back to sleep, Spike obviously couldn't go outside so he snuggled up next to Buffy, Xander not wanting to look at the two lovers sleep all day decided to get up and find Dawn and Willow.

-2 Hours later-

'Awwwaaah' Buffy yawned scrunching her face up

'Mornin pet' Spike said

'Oh what are you doing here?'

'Well couldn't really go outside could I?'

'Oh right of course' Buffy rolled over and kissed Spike on the cheek and snuggled up to him

'Watcha been doing then?' Buffy asked

'Nothing Love, there isn't anything to do'

'Wana do something?' Buffy winked at Spike

'Ohh you' Spike replied rolling her over and kissing her neck

'AHHHH' a woman screamed from the dinning room

Willow, Xander and Dawn bursted into the room

'Buff come quick!' Xander yelled

Buffy quickly got up and pulled some clothes on

'Dawnie stay here' Willow said gently pushing Dawn into their room

Xander, Willow and Buffy ran off down into the dinning room.

'Were you um going to sleep with my sister? Dawn asked Spike

'What! We always sleep next to each other' Spike replied trying to avoid the actual question Dawn meant.

'So what happened guys?' Buffy asked as they just ran into the dinning room.

'A woman she was like possessed, I don't know her eyes rolled back, she went pale and started talking random words' Willow replied

Buffy ran up to the woman

'Are you alright ma'm?'

'I feel fine' the woman replied

'Do you know what you said?' Xander asked the woman

'No... No I dont know'

'Thats okay, thank you, take care' Willow told the woman

'We get to Australia soon? Right Will?' Buffy asked

'Yeah, in the morning we should be there' Willow replied

'Should we do something? I mean we have nothing, and I mean nothing, no books, no clues about what things have happened on this boat before' Xander mentioned

'I don't know, I mean I know what you mean Xand, I just want a break from crazy stuff, just for a minute' complained Buffy

They walked back to their room in silence.

'Is she okay? What was it? Did you kill it?' Dawn blurted out

'I'm going for a walk' Buffy retorted and walked out the door

'Was it something I said?' Dawn asked

'It's okay Dawnie' Xander told her

'I'll catch up with her' Spike said jumping out of bed and putting a black shirt on to match his black pants.

Spike walked out the door and followed the scent of Buffy, she was at the front of the boat starring down at the water.

'Whats wrong?' he asked straight away

'How did you find me so quick?' she replied

'Well the boat is small and you smell incredibly nice' Spike laughed

'Yeah, the smell of not showering and clothes I have worn for about four days' Buffy said grumpily

'Is this why you are upset pet? Because there is a shower in the room, I mean you actually don't smell bad I just followed your scent'

'What is my scent?'

'Well I cant describe it, it's sweet and warm not like any other smell, it's your smell the one and only Buffy scent' Spike smiled

'I just want to take a break, from the whole slayer thing and get on with the life I want with you and the gang' Buffy admitted

Spike pulled her into a hug and stroked her head.

'Buffy you will soon, I promise and there is all those slayers out there now who don't need a calling, but you are still the one Buffy' Spike told his love

Buffy looked up at Spike and smiled, she blinked back her tears and gave Spike a long, tender kiss.

'Let's go have a shower' Buffy said

'Us?' Spike chocked

'I didn't get to finish what I started before' Buffy said with a cheeky smile.
