Chapter 31

The sun poured into the window, Spike had forgotten what it was like to be burnt by the sun. His love was asleep next to him, she turned over and moaned.

'Mornin pet' Spike whispered

'Mmm baby' she moaned

'The baby's fine I already checked on her'

Buffy moved herself over until her head was laying on Spike's chest.

'No you baby'

'Are you talking crazy?' Spike asked laughing, Buffy stared into his eyes and smiled 'possibly' she replied with a laugh.

Buffy rolled out of bed and walked out the door into the room on the right, the baby's room. She walked in and saw her little girl lying slightly awake in her cot.

'Good morning gorgeous girl' Buffy smiled, she beamed back at Buffy showing a gummy smile. Buffy picked up her girl and rocked her against her body. She left the room and returned to her own. Spike still in bed she joined him with their girl.

'I have another baby suggestion' Buffy said, Spike rolled over and sat up taking the baby from her, he smiled at her and the baby again revealed a gummy smile.

'Yeah love?' Spike replied looking up at Buffy

'Eleanor'

Spike looked at Buffy then back at his little girl, he stared at her and whispered the name over and over again.

'Eleanor... Eleanor... Buffy... That's so perfect for her!' Spike beamed

'Eleanor Pratt'

'Ugh. Really she gets my last name?' Spike asked in disgust

'Yeah who wouldn't want your last name!?' Buffy laughed

'Do you want my last name?' Spike asked, Buffy stared at him

'Wait what?'

Spike stared back and took Buffy's hands

'Buffy Summers will...'

RING RING

'WAAAAAH' Eleanor started screaming, Buffy stared at the wall in shock, Spike got up and rocked Eleanor gently

'BUFFY, SPIKE IT WAS GILES COME DOWN IT'S IMPORTANT' Willow yelled from downstairs, Buffy continued staring at the wall, the moment was gone. Spike headed to the door carrying Eleanor

'Love?' Spike asked Buffy

'Yeah' Buffy replied standing up and following Spike downstairs.

'Sorry did I disturb anything?' Willow asked, Buffy really wanted to say yes but that wouldn't of sounded nice, she looked at Spike.

'Nah we were just talking baby names' Spike smiled

'Really? Decide on any?' Willow asked holding her arms out for the baby.

'Yeah we did her name is Eleanor' Buffy smiled

'Oh guys that is perfect!' Willow beamed

'What about a middle name?' Willow asked

There was silence,

'How about Joyce after your mother Buff?' Spike asked her

'Yeah, that would be lovely' Buffy smiled

'Aw yeah that is perfect Spike!' Willow said

Spike went to the fridge,

'Want anything Buffy?' he asked
