August

"Was' goin' on" I greeted everyone as I walked into my tattoo shop and I walked over to the front desk where my nigga maleek was at dapping him up

"Wassup Aug"

"Same shit... chillin'" I said sitting on the couch and took my phone from my pocket

"You got clients today"

"Fuh'sure gotta make this money"

"I feel you"

A woman walked into the shop and I ain't gonna lie she was looking good but I had to keep it professional

"Hi" She spoke

"Who ya hea' for ma" Maleek asked her and I looked back down at my phone

"I'm here for August"

"Cool you can sign in over hea' and meet him in the back" He said and I got up to go set up

I really don't know what made me want to tattoo but I always could draw and I wanted to be a business man, be my own boss, so I just put two and two together and made enough money to get my own shop. People started to love my work and recognize me as an artist which is why business is booming right now.

The girl walked into the room and I patted the seat near me letting her know she can sit down

"What chu' tryna get today" I asked her spinning in my chair

"Well I wanted a heart shaped lock with like flowers all around it"

I nodded my head thinking about a design to do while writing down her ideas

"And what makes ya' want dat"

"Bad relationship experiences and I feel like it's time for me to lock my heart up until I find that right one with the key"

"And the flowers?"

"They symbolize my new beginnings and remind me how beautiful I am"

"Ain't I got chu' imma draw this up for ya it'll take me about an hour and a half if you want to leave and come back" I said taking out my sketch book and pencil

"Ok thanks so much"

She got up out of the chair and walked out the door and I started on this sketch making sure it was perfect. It took me almost 2 hours to draw what I saw in my head from her explanation and I think she's gonna like it

I walked out into the waiting room to get the girl and walked her back into the back to get started

"Ard so this is what I got for you"

I turned my book around and she her eyes widen
