Enjoy the beautiful song.

Micheal stopped the car and I got out.
I turned and took support from the open window, placing my elbows on it.

"Thank you Micheal. It was nice talking and sharing things. I feel much better now." I smiled and said.

"My pleasure. And if you need to talk to me, you can call me at any hour of the day. By the way...how did you get my number?" he asked.

"Blake Tessler." I said.

"Who?" he asked.

"That hacker guy who rarely attends any classes." I said.

"Oh that guy with a weird hairstyle?" he asked.

"It is a faux hawk haircut, Micheal." I smiled and said.

"Whatever, doesn't look like a hawk." He said.

"Maybe you should get a haircut." I said.

"No way. I am not putting that cut on my head. Eww..." he said.

"I didn't mean that cut. Your hair are about to turn into a jungle." I laughed and said.

He looked at the interior rear view mirror and said
"Not close to a jungle but yes I do need it" he smiled.

"Okay...so I should get going." I said and stood straight.

"Oh! Yes...yes. Good night." he said and put his hand on the steering wheel.

"Bye" I said and walked away from the car.

"Bye" he ignited the engine.

I saw his car go out of sight and then went indoors.

I felt much light hearted.
I pulled out my phone, turned it on...
Notifications: 16 missed calls from Melly.
                             5 messages from Melly.
                             1 voice call from Melly.

Oh God! She was definitely going to murder me.

I called her.

"Where were you? Why didn't you pick? Do you know how worried I am?" she started barking like anything.

"Relax Melly, I am home." I said.

I agree it was my fault. At least I should have texted her, once.

"Stay there" she said and hung up.

I went to my room, changed clothes, sat on the window.

Then I gazed at the endless sky.
I have often read in the novels that people in love count stars. Now I wonder if the person existed who would make me count them?

Only then I saw Rowan's car pull up in front of my house.

Melly got out and rushed indoors.
I heard her banging the front door behind her.
She came upstairs and in no time stood in my room.

I turned and smiled.

"What is all this?" she asked.

"What is what?" I asked.

"Don't act as if you don't know anything. When will you grow up?" she was very angry.

"Change and come here. Fast." I said and walked away from the window.

She took her night clothes and went to the bathroom.
In no time, we were sitting on the bed. Facing each other.

"We were very wrong about Derek." I said.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because he is an asshole. He insulted me and so I did the same and ran out of the party. I could have stayed and punched him hard but I wasn't in a mood to insult him." I said.

"What happened?" she asked.

I narrated the entire incident, word to word.

"That bastard. He told us that on seeing him, you fled in terror. I will kill him." she said.

"No need for that. I could have done that myself." I said and looked away.

"Anyways, I have a question." I said.

"What?" she asked.
At least she wasn't mad at me anymore.

"There are so many guys in around us, then out of all those why did you choose Derek, the bastard?" I asked.

"He isn't that bad once you get to know him." she said.

"Oh and since when have you known him?" I asked.

She didn't answer my last question and said "You like him. Right?"

"Used to, not anymore." I said.

"Stop Becky. We should give him a chance. At least." She said.

"And do you think he will come after me, begging, saying "Oh! My love, please come to me, I can't live without you" Never." I said.

She laughed.

"I guess so" she winked.

"If that happens, a treat from my side." I said.

I was 200% sure that it would never happen.

"Okay." She said.

I closed the side lamps and both of us laid side by side.

Melly was fast asleep. She must have been tired.

I thought for a moment.
What a heavy day it was?

But this was also kind of an experience.
Then only good thing that happened was that Micheal could be counted as a good friend of mine, now.

My parents were returning the next day.
Which meant I had to wake early.
So I pushed all my thoughts away and fell into the arms of sleep.
