When Grace got home that night it suddenly hit her that she was studying tonight. With Ross. She took out her phone. And went onto snapchat.
To:Rosstheboss
Grace:Hey what time you coming tonight?
Rosstheboss is typing....
Ross:Is eight good?
Grace:Yep!
Ross:see you then, Vanderwaal😉
(End of snapchat convo)
It was only four. She had four hours. Then it hit her, she had to ask her mom. "Mom!" Grace called,"mom!".
"Yes Grace?" Her mother asked. "Can I have someone over to study for the test tonight..like study buddies?" Grace asked,"please!".
"Who is this 'buddie'?" Her mom asked suspiciously. "Ross" Grace replied. "A boy? Ooo Grace,Olivia!" Her mom teased. "Mom, please don't--"
"Yeah mom?" Olivia replied coming out of her room.
"Grace is bringing a boy over to study tonight" Her mom smirked.
"Oooo Grace" Olivia teased. "It's just studying!" Grace shouted.
"For now" Olivia said.
Grace playfully slapped her, laughing.
"Can he come?" Grace replied.
"So what are your intentions" Her mom giggled. "To study! Gosh" Grace said, snapping a bit. "What time?" Her mom asked. "Eight".
"Ok".
