Lori looked at herself in the mirror. Her blue eyes once alive looked dead. her black hair blended into her dress. Julie came up behind her putting the bow in her hair.

"You ready?" Michelle asked peeking behind the door.

Lori nodded and Julie left the room.

Cole knocked on the door and came in. He stood behind Lori and wrapped his arms around her. She leaned back into him.

"I never thought...." Cole said.

"Neither did I." Lori smiled.

They smiled at each other and laughed.

Cole turned her around to face him. He kissed her cheek and took her hand in his. They walked out of his room and out the front door. Lori got into the limousine and then Cole, Michelle and finally Scott.

The drive seemed to take forever. She held on to Cole's hand. Michelle smiled and sighed. Scott chuckled and nodded his head as if he was just realizing something. They pulled up to the cemetery and everyone got out. Lori had one foot out when she saw Gabe, Will, Dalton and Dana by her mothers casket.

"They are the pallbearers." Scott said.

Lori nodded. Cole helped her out and started walking. Dana was the first to notice Lori. He tried to smile at her but failed. She gave him a warm smile and looked at her mothers casket. She froze and started hyperventilating. The people that were walking by stared at her.

"Is she okay?" A man asked.

"She is barring her mother today." Gabe said sternly.

The man flinched as if Gabe was gonna hit him and walked away fast. Cole pulled Lori close and whispered soothing things into her ear. Lori's breathing calmed down and she closed her eyes.

"Better?" Cole asked against her hair.

"Yeah." she whispered.

Cole nodded and kissed her head. She leaned her head against his and smiled.

"Thank you." she said.

He looked at her "For?"

She kisses him. She felt him freeze for a second and then he kiss her back.

"For being there for me." She said against his lips.

"Y-your W-welcome." He stuttered.

They pulled away and started walking to the tent. Michelle and Scott sat behind Lori and Cole.

"Today we say goodbye to a dear friend of ours. A friend, A sister, A mother..."The priest started.
