Niall's POV
It's 5am in the morning and I'm gonna make (Y/N) a special mother's day surprise. I'm gonna bake her a cheesecake which is her favorite. I bought all the ingredients last night and honestly I haven't made a cheesecake to my entire life so let's see what's gonna happen but I'll do my best.
I took my iPad and searched a procedure on youtube.
(A/N: I haven't made an cheesecake either so I don't know what's the first ingredient to put. Lols. Don't judge me 😂)
I'm beating 3 pieces of eggs and the procedure in the youtube said to mix the beaten eggs to the flour and then.. WAIT, Seperate the egg white and the egg yolk. Shoot! Again.
It's been an hour and the cheesecake isn't halfway ready. You can do this Niall. This is the third time I'm doing it and I just put the cheesecake in the oven and I hope it looks and taste good. After 40 minutes, I removed the cheesecake in the oven. When I sliced it looks good and when I tasted it.. NO! (Y/N) will kill me. It has no justice, that's it. I'm going to the bakery.
It's already 8am and there are so many people in the bakery. I parked the car and the line is so long. (Y/N) is gonna wake up soon. Come on, come on! After 20 minutes I finally made it on the counter.
"One cheesecake please." I said not waiting the saleslady to ask what I want
"I'm sorry sir. But we're sold out." She said making my eyes widen
"No that can't be. It's only 8:30 the cheesecake has to be available." I said in one breath
"I'm sorry sir the person before you got the last cheesecake."
I sighed "Anyways, do you have any slice of cheesecake or anything." I asked and then she shook her head no
Great "Okay thanks." I said and left the bakery
I went back to my car and went to the nearest starbucks to see if there is a slice of cheesecake and I decided buy her favorite drink.
"Good morning sir, how can I help you?" The person in the cashier asked me
"Can I have a slice of cheesecake and a chocolate chip frappe." I answered "Thank you."
"I'm sorry to disappoint you sir but the cheesecakes are sold out." She sadly said
"Here too?" I asked in shock and she nod "Well, I'll just buy the drink then." I sighed and scratched the back of my neck
I got home at around 9:15am and I didn't got (Y/N) her favorite cake. I looked everywhere. I went to Target, Wallmart, a supermarket across Target, no cheesecake!
I decided to buy her a pink rose and the drink I bought her in starbucks. I went upstairs and see my beautiful wife sleeping peacefully. I went to her side and kissed her forehead. I touched her big stomach and I can't wait for our baby girl to come out next month.
(Y/N) stirred in her sleep and I knew that she's awake
"Good morning, mommy." I whispered softly
"Good morning, daddy." She said with her sweet smile "You look exhausted, hon." She said
"I got you this." I said showing her the rose and the starbucks I got her today
"When did you got this?" She said slowly sitting up and I helped her to make herself comfartable
"A while ago. I tried to buy you a cheesecake but every store I went is sold out." I said
"Aw, thank you Ni." She said and kissed my cheek which made the stress go away "Your the best." She said and smelled the rose I got her "This smells good."
"You're welcome." I said and sat beside her "Happy mother's day!" I said and kissed her soft lips
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet." She giggled
"So do I." I laughed
"Your worst. You left the house not brushing your teeth." She laughed harder
"Maybe that's the reason why they didn't give me a slice of cheesecake." Which made us both laugh
"Oh my god." She said calming down "Baby, your dad is something and you are lucky." She said touching her big belly
"And you are lucky to have a wonderful, gorgeous, caring and loving mommy." I said touching the hand on her belly
"I love you." She said softly looking at me
"I love you." I said and closed the gap between us
When we went down and headed to the kitchen my eyes widened when I saw the huge mess in the kitchen.
"Niall, what happen in here?" (Y/N) gasped when she saw the clutter in the kitchen
"A cheesecake happened." I said smiling at her
"You are really something, babe." She shook her head
"I know."
