You and Niall have been busy with your own lives. You are both living miles away from each other. Niall have been busy making new music and attending some charity auctions while you are busy with college.
The only thing that communicates you both is through a video call, voice call and mostly text. Yes it's hard, but both of you have no any other options left.
It's currently 1am and you are in your apartment studying for your biochemistry exam. While you we're studying, your phone bleeps. You grabbed your phone and check who texted you at a time like this. Those five letters made you smile after all of the stress that you are having.
Niall:
You busy? I want to talk to you, love. I miss you loads 😢💔
It's been a week since you last talk to him, so you set aside your books and pens and quickly called him through voice call. After one ring he answered it.
"Hey, how's my girl?" You haven't heard his voice in a while and it makes your eyes tear up "Are you busy right now?"
"I'm fine. I miss you so much, Ni." You softly said "I have been studying for the last five hours and your text was a perfect timing. I needed to breath. Where are you right now?"
"I'm in the airport right now, I'm flying to Australia to attend an auction. And my flight has been delayed so I'm just waiting for the next flight." He answered
"Well take care alright? Text me when you safely landed to Australia." You said while going down to the kitchen to have some midnight snacks
"Okay, love. So what do you want to talk about huh? Fuck biochemistry, let's talk first and talk about something fun." He said making you chuckle "Now there's that laugh. Haven't heard it in a while."
"Thanks, babe. You always know how to make things better for me even we are miles apart." You said having a bite of your favorite packs of cookies
"Have you been taking care of yourself while I'm gone princess?" He asked
"Always and besides you'll be mad at me if I weren't." You answered "How about you mister? Have you been taking care yourself?"
"Babe, I have to be healthy at all times. I don't want to look ugly in front of the paparazzis." You laughed at him "What? It's hard to be a model."
You laughed harder making you hold onto your stomach "You're a jerk, Niall Horan!"
"Did you see me on the Armani show? I look hot right?" He jokingly said making you laugh again
"Of course you're hot because you are Niall Horan. But the downside is, you belong to me, so I should be the only one to get to see you that hot and sexy." You said trying to do a sexy voice but failing miserably
"Nice try, babe. We still need to work on that." He chuckled "When I get home, we'll do some sexy lessons."
"I don't have room for more lessons, Ni." You whined making him chuckle "What I need is you, right here, beside me. Eating some cookies and a cup of coffee in the middle of the night."
"Don't worry, babe. I'll be home before you know it okay?" He said and you nod "Hey. Are you still with me?"
"Yeah." Your voice cracking at the end
"Don't cry now, my love." He said
Niall knows you pretty well. You wiped the tears away that is running down your cheek and tried not to cry.
"I love you." He said in a way that he'll make you stop crying and smile instead
"I love you too. Come home soon, please." You said whispering at the end
"Sorry princess, I got to go. My flight has been called. I'll text you later. Love you, bye." He said before ending the call
You sighed and put your phone down and went back upstairs to continue reading your notes. You looked at the time and it's already 2am, time goes by really fast when you spend your time with Niall.
You studied until 3:30am and after that you went to bed. You alarmed your phone at 7am because your class starts at 8:30am and you don't want to be late for your biochemistry exam.
Before you got up from your bed you checked on your phone and you've seen that you have received a message from Niall. You thought it was just a simple text, but it was a long one.
Niall:
Hey babe, I just arrived here in Australia. I'm alright, I'm currently typing this message in a hotel that I'm staying at. The view from up here is beautiful, but not as beautiful as you. You are more beautiful than the view, princess.
Good luck on your exam today! I know that you can do it and I believe in you, my love. Don't worry about failing because that is the last thing that will ever happen to you.
Call me around 6pm there, that's my free time for today and I want to spend my time with you.
I love you and miss you, (Y/N)! ❤😘
Reading that text from him made your heart melt. It feels like your day will be alright after that long message, and it did. You passed your exam and got an A+, Niall is so happy and proud of you.
"I told you that you could do it." He said through the phone while you were in your living room, relaxing after a hell of a week.
"Thank you for always believing in me, Ni. You're the best." You said lying down, smiling like an idiot
"Always babe. Well I got to go, I'll talk to you soon." He said and ended the call
Around 8pm you are watching The Suits on Netflix with chips and milk tea. You were comfortable with your sitting position but then there was a knock on your door making you groan.
"Ugh! Who the hell is this?" You muttered to yourself, when you opened the door you saw him standing at your doorway
"Surprise!" Niall said putting his bag down making you hug him very tight "I miss you." He whispered on your ear
"I can't believe it! You're here!" You said pulling away
"I missed you so much, I needed to see you." He said and you hugged him again
"I miss you too, Ni. Don't leave me again."
"I'll never leave you. You are my home."
