(Y/N)'s POV
It is a Sunday afternoon and we are driving to one of our closest friends house because that is the venue of our gender reveal. But the thing is, we aren't the ones who prepared this event. It was our family and friends. So only Niall and I are the ones who doesn't know the gender of our baby.
I'm still overwhelmed by the fact that Niall and I are having a baby and now we are finding out if we are having a mini me or mini Niall.
Niall held his free hand with mine, giving it a gentle squeeze.
“You alright, love?” I asked while giving his hand a soothing rub to calm him down
“Yeah, just nervous.” He sighed and he kissed the back of my hand
“Me too, love.” I said “But I'm still hoping that I'll win the bet.” I added making him laugh
Niall and I are having a bet going on, I want it to be a girl but Niall wants it to be a boy. If I win, Niall will be doing our laundry for a month (which he hates) and if he wins, I'll be cooking his favorite dinner everyday for a month.
“It's a boy, love.” He said and
“You have a proof for that?” I asked and he chuckled
“No, but I feel it's a boy.”
“Well, I think it's a girl. I looked at a website saying if I have these signs it means it's a girl.”
“That's unfair, love. I'm just basing my theory through guts.” He said and I chuckled
“But I also read the signs for a boy and some of the signs that I have also match for a boy.” I added
“So it's not accurate?” He asked
“Nope. The best way to find it out is to go to a doctor to find out the gender.”
“I just realized that we are the ones who is having a baby and we are the ones who will be surprise. It should be them that we will surprise.” He explained “Why did I even agree with you in the first place? Are you happy that we are being tortured right now?”
“Niall, calm down!” I laughed

The venue is so beautiful. It is our first time coming to our closest friend's modern glass garden house because it was done 3 months ago. The place is decorated with pastel blue and pastel pink balloons, plates, cups and etc. and everyone that is coming, including us, are wearing white to balance the tone.
“Cara, the house is beautiful. I super love it!” I said and gave her a warm hug “The decorations are also aesthetically pleasing.”
“Thanks, (Y/N)! Well I do have a great team.” She said referring to our family and friends
