Dali-dali akong pumasok sa loob ng villa sabay hagis ng bag ko sa sofa. Kanina pa ako humihinga ng malalim para pakalmahin ang sarili ko.

"Mira, kumalma ka nga." sabi ni Ken habang hinahagod ang likod ko

"Ito ba 'yon, Ken? Ito ba yung sinasabi mo na tayong dalawa lang ang hindi nakaka-alam?"

"I guess it is. Matagal ko nang napapansin that your parents have been so close to Zedric's."

"Fck this!"

Naramdaman kong may sumunod sa'min kaya naman napa-lingon ako. It was my sister with all smile on her face. Mabilis siyang lumapit sa'kin at niyakap ako.

"Congratulations Sis! I'm so happy for you."

Kumalas ako sa yakap niya, "Ate, may alam ka ba dito?"

"Yes! Of course! I played the part of nakodo for the two of you. Diba, hindi kayo mag-mi meet kundi dahil sa'kin?"

"Ate, why?"

"What do you mean 'why'?"

"Ayoko pang ikasal."

"Mira, you're just in the perfect age of marrying!"

"In a tender age of 22?" Ken asked

"Yes!" tumingin siya kay Ken, "And that's the sole reason why you are left out from this miai. Lately, napapansin kong kumakampi ka na kay Mira. And it is just not right na malaman niya kung kani-kanino lang. It is the head of the family who should announce it."

"Tama na!" I decided to end this sht, "Tigilan niyo na 'to dahil hindi naman ako ikakasal!"

"Well, little sis, you might wanna consider that. There are grounds to consider—"

"I don't effin care! I'm not getting married!"

"Who says you won't?" napa-lingon kaming lahat sa nag-salita.

"Dad..."

"What did I just hear?" he asked

Kasabay niyang pumasok si Mommy, pati ang parents ni Zedric at si Zedric. As much as possible, I want to be an obedient daughter to my Dad but not this time. It's my whole life were talking about!

"Dad, I don't want to get married."

"Ohh, my sweet girl, there's no time to back out now." paunti unting lumapit sa'kin ang Mommy ni Zed, "Everything is starting now to prepare for your wedding!"

Tinanggal ko yung hawak niya sa'kin. It disgusts me.

"I don't care. I don't want to get married. Not now, not ever!"

"But why, sweetheart?" tanong ng Daddy ni Zed

I don't love your son. Kapag sinabi ko ba yan, mas madali nilang maiintindihan?

"I just don't want to get married! Please stop this nonsense."

"Nonsense?!" my Dad roared, "You call this nonsense?!"
