Is that a fire?

Robert's POV

I can't look at it. I just can't. I can hear Belle's sobs and uselessly trying to move away. But that only resulted in aggression from Jelani's part.

"I said, look" Jelani yelled at me.

How could I?

He was about to rape Belle.

In front of me.

And there was nothing I could do.

Tom's POV

"I wasn't really fair to him..." I whispered, looking at the fire.

Deon looked at me "I do not know about the story, but I believe Robert is not the kind of person to hold a grudge"

"I know he is not..." I looked down. Desperation started to fill me. They had taken him. I didn't know where to. And he looked bad.

"Is..." Deon stood up "Is that a fire?!"

I raised my eyebrow and stood up. I looked over to where Deon pointed and I saw a unusual gleam on the farm's side. A burning smell could actually be sensed, and it was surely not from our fires.

It was a matter of seconds until all the bells started to ding and everyone got out their tents. We heard the sound of a horse approaching. It was one of the sergeants.

"To the training field immediately! Pick up weapons and listen to the other sergeant's orders!" he yelled

"What's going on?" I asked

"Just move! We're under attack!"

My eyes widened.

Deon looked at me.

The sound of shots started to be heard, as well as screams of all kind. I started to move along with the others, desperation increasing by second, but Deon stopped me.

"Wait. Can't you see?"

"See what?" I asked

He whispered "No one will notice our absence. This is the perfect time to find Goswick and Belle and leave this bloody place!" He looked around

"MOVE!" some colleagues shouted to us, running to the field.

I looked at Deon "you're right, but what should we do?"

Deon quickly entered his tent, pushing me with him "Maybe we should get a few weapons. I will quickly go to the field and have some. You grab your and Robert stuff. Belle said her tent was next to the Master's house. Go there. Pick up everything. I'll meet you there"

"What if there's someone...?"

"I believe it will take some time until they reach the house"

I looked at him, adrenalin running over my body now "Ok" I nodded "Let's do it"

"GO!" He snapped before running out the tent.

Robert's POV

He started undressing her. It disgusted me. It broke my heart into a million pieces watching Belle in that position, suffering. Is it even possible to mend a shattered, painful and traumatized heart and person? Amazing person, might I had. The tears started to fill my eyes as I heard her begging and sobbing even hard her.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"I DON'T WANT TO BE INTERRUPTED!" Jelani yelled

"But Sir!" I saw Berko's head looking inside the room.

"NO BUT!"

"It is really urgent, Sir!"

"I'll be there in a moment, now please go the f*ck away!"

Damn. Please interrupt again Berko.

Tom's POV

I was incredulous with the good amount of supplies Belle was able to get. She had sewed bags! She is amazingly brilliant.

I gathered everything I could and soon saw Deon approaching.

"Take this" he handed me a shotgun

"Wow... I never..."

"You know how they're used. Just point at the target and shoot. No mercy Tom!" he snapped

"O-Ok" I said "Belle's not here. We should sneak into the house. She's surely there"

"Let's go, carefully" Deon said "Give me a bag"

We broke into the house, no one seemed to be there.

"The kitchen must have some more supplies" Deon spoke

"We have a good amount already" I looked at him "I need to find Belle, Deon. We should split and you should go try to find Robert"

"I know. But the more supplies the better. Then I'll go find Robert"

However, as we crossed the next hall, we came face to face with someone.

"Oh god"

Woooah, who is there?

Can they stop Jelani from raping Belle?

Can they escape?
