?BONUS 4: Fun Facts?

•  Not meaning to sound weird or anything, but this book was a kind of a 'meh' book... Didn't really put too much effort into it to be completely honest... *guilty smile*

• Lillie was originally going to be the Mist Dragon Slayer

• Aren's name was supposed to be just 'Ren', but then I realised there was already a Ren (in Blue Pegasus). By the time I had realised this, I was already on Chapter Five, so I had to go back and change every mention of his name

• It took ages to decide (and some consulting with a friend) whether Kasai should be the Lightning Devil Slayer, or Lightning Phoenix Slayer

• Cindy was originally planned to die in Chapter Sixteen, but I couldn't bring myself to do that to Lillie

• Owan's name is based off my brother's name and his own Fairy Tail RolePlay OC

• Owan did actually go through a series of name changes, none of which I can remember :3

• In Chapter Seventeen, when Mikami tackle hugs Lillie and Kasai tells her to "Let her breathe, Mikami", that was based off a scene in 'Harry Potter an the Order of the Phoenix'

• Lillie was originally intended to fight Orga instead of Chelia, but I thought that would be too similar to 'The Star Dragon Slayer', when Skie fights Orga

• Yukino was originally supposed to be in Team Hailstorm (#STING X YUKINO), but I changed my mind (D: I still dunno why I decided that)

• Aren didn't actually speak until Chapter Four

• I kept alternating between writing on my phone and my laptop for this book

• The dream Lillie had in Chapter One was due to her childhood, in which the Viper Strike guild destroyed her home village

• The dream sequence was kept the same throughout all three times I re-designed the plot

• Gryfin's last name; 'Kaname' was inspired from a weird, role playing dream I had

• I spent half an hour coming up with team names (Like Team Hailstorm), and sorting all the different mages of Fiore into them, but not even half of the teams were mentioned in the actual book (*cri every time*)

• I started writing the beginnings to Chapters Thirteen and Fourteen before actually finishing Chapter Eleven, or even starting Chapter Twelve

• I had Chapter Sixteen's title ('Judgement of a Phoenix') planned out from the start

• The whole bit about Cindy being kidnapped by Viper Strike, and the mages of Crimson Illusion going to rescue her, was a last minute thing in an attempt to make the story more interesting (needless to say, I failed miserably)

• I started writing Chapter One in the middle of the night because I was bored and couldn't fall asleep, and I thought I wouldn't get anywhere with the storyline

• This book was originally going to be about my OC, Skie Dragneel (from 'The Star Dragon Slayer') past (if you re-read the dream in Chapter One, you'll see that it fits for a story about Skie's past, too)

• I gave Skie a 'cameo'. :3 Did anyone notice? (Hint: In 'The Unicorn' chapter.)

• Although mentioned briefly (in Chapters Two, Three and Twenty-One), Mikami and Gryfin never actually pulled a prank on their guild mates in this book (unless you include them stealing Lillie's cookies in Chapter One)

• I had written the chapter names (but not the actual chapters) for the rest of the story before I even finished Chapter Seventeen

• It took forever to write the character profiles, because I kept changing everything every three minutes (Like, no joke. It took me a whole week to finish the character profiles...)

• When I changed Lillie's magic to Sky Phoenix Slaying Magic, rather than Mist Dragon Slaying magic, I had already drafted six chapters, so I had to go back and change them all..... Then, being the idiot I am, I changed her magic to Storm Phoenix Slayer magic FIVE WEEKS AFTER I HAD PUBLISHED CHAPTER ONE (meaning I had already published 5 chapters).... *dies a little inside*

• The first event in the Grand Magic Games wasn't originally planned to be set in a maze

• After Milliana got Natsu and Lillie's sashes (in the first GMG event), Natsu was originally going to reassure Lillie, telling her that even if the first event didn't go well, there were plenty other events.... But I got lazy :3 (and it sounded cringy AF)...

• During the Leviathan invasion, Kasai was indeed in one of the teams that intercepted the Leviathans in Hargeon

• Mest teleported the teams who went to stop the Leviathans to Hargeon

• Cindy ran away from the Viper Strike guild (her father being the leader) when she was 7 years old, and met Lillie not long after that

• In the major battle thing, Gryfin didn't actually do any fighting. He was helping civilians evacuate the entire time, by using his earth manipulation magic to move rubble

• I actually did the majority of writing for this story at night time

• Kasai and Lillie were originally planned to have grown up together, but I scrapped that idea

• When I wrote the Christmas OVA draft, it was actually Easter where I live

•   This book was kind of a thing to fill the gap between when I finished The Star Dragon Slayer - Book 1 and when I'm going to publish Star Dragon's Return (Book 2 of the Star Dragon Slayer series) .. CRAP I STILL NEED TO FINISH WRITING THAT *sprints off to try finish writing Star Dragon's Return* (￣▽￣)

• This weird little fun facts chapter is longer than most of the other chapters in this book.... Whaaaat.
