I think she's flirting with me. I kept staring into her eyes hoping to see that flash of blue again even though I knew there's no way it'll happen.

The boys sat in a comfortable silence drinking their coffees and occasionally Lee would snort at whatever stupid joke I had told, trying and failing to make Ellis laugh.

"You're funny," Ellis finally said stirring more sugar into her coffee.

"Really?!" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Yes, why?! Do you not think so?"

"You're not laughing at any of my jokes though," I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Oh," she mumbled. "I don't really laugh that much, do I."

She looked up smiling sadly, "Sorry."

I blushed looking down at my hands as I held my mug.

We finished our coffee soon after and stood up to leave, Sammy and I lagging at the back.

"Do you think they'll want to see us again?" I muttered.

He shrugged, "I don't know Rory, I really don't know."

I bit my nail as I shuffled up to walk beside Ellis.
