Light woke up to the sound of L's fingers hitting the keyboard.
"Ryuzaki!" Light snarled. "I told you to sleep hours ago!"
L looked at him with a teasing smirk as he closed the laptop.
"Light, what more can you expect from me? You out of all people should know I find it rather boring to follow the rules." L winked. Light blushed slightly, but forced a laugh so his attitude would seem normal as always.
What had sparked this feeling? He felt.. Almost as if there were a thousand butterflies in his stomach.
"Light?" L looked at him concerningly. "Are you okay? You seem to have zoned out.."
Light snapped back to reality and looked at him with a smile before laughing lightly.
"Yes, Ryuzaki, I'm fine." L smiled, placing his laptop on the nightstand beside him.
"So, as I was working last night, I discovered that you, Light, have decreased your suspicion by 10 percent." Light smiled at L.
"Thank you Ryuzaki. I plan on fully clearing my suspicion in time." L smiled back, and once again the butterflies feeling came back.
