After the whole stare battle with L, Light found himself falling back asleep to the sound of L's fingers tapping away on the keys of his laptop.
"Light!" L shook him. Light groaned in response. L groaned. "Don't start this again, please? I'd like to go out and get something."
Light flipped over to look at him.
"Like what?" He was tired, very tired. It's not easy to sleep in the same room with someone like L. He was loud sometimes, (on the rare occasion that he ate enough candy late in the night) and he always was on his computer.
"Cake." He smiled warmly. Light just sighed and shoed him away.
"Please, please? I'll do you a favor if we go, please?" His persistent begging was enough to make Light decide that he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
Groggily, the boy sighed and nodded.
"But not too much, please limit yourself." He raised an eyebrow, and L smiled.
"Sure, thank you Light!" He kissed Light on the cheek. Light looked over at L strangely and the other boy blushed.
"S-sorry.. Uhm.. We should get ready, yes?" He said awkwardly, changing the subject.
Light nodded and began to get dressed.
This is going to be one interesting day.
