II

yoongi woke up blearily, squinting his eyes, mr. woobie still in his clutches. he got up and padded to the kitchen, his mouth overwhelmingly dry, all he wanted was a drink.

he stopped in shock when he saw the note on the fridge, looking around in confusion. he pulled it off, scanning it quickly and it fluttered to the floor as he gasped.

"oh no. oh no no no no no." he mumbled, running his hands through his messy hair.

he held mr. woobie to his chest, his breath coming out in little gasps. "seokie knows about you now." he explained to the bear, yoongi was still in the process of teaching mr. woobie how to read.

he frowned, poking out his bottom lip and looked at the clock, it was 9:30. and hoseok had wanted him to call him in the morning.

he took a deep breath and grabbed his phone off of the kitchen counter. he could do this. he was a big boy.

he easily found hoseok's number, he was one of the only people yoongi called, except for his mother.

calling hobi 🌦...

"yoongi-hyung!" was yelled through the phone. "good morning! i assume you got my note?"

"y-yes i did." he couldn't help but huff as he stuttered.

"are we still on for lunch?"

"uh yeah if you still want to go." he said, wondering why hoseok wasn't making fun of him yet.

"i can come pick you up at 1."

"that would be good, thanks hobi, bye." he rushed off the phone, cheeks turning bright pink.

ding! a notification lit up his phone screen.

hobi 🌦 - you never told me the name of your bear!!

yoongi tried his hardest not to blush, especially when hoseok opened the car door for him.

hoseok treated him the sweetest, he looked past his grumpiness and his sharp tongue and was able to see something that he didn't even see in himself. he made him laugh harder than anyone else, and act silly, outgoing even, traits he didn't normally portray. and yoongi couldn't help but feel small around him. it was slowly but surely becoming a problem.

yoongi let out a little squeal when they parked, "we're getting barbecue??"

"i know it's your favorite." hobi smiled, trying not laugh at the sound that left his hyung's mouth.

"table for two for jung hoseok." the brunette said, still holding onto yoongi's back.

"right this way."

yoongi sat down with a happy smile on his face, placing a hand under his chin.

"you look so cute, hyung." hoseok laughed, when he looked up from scanning the menu.

"stop." yoongi rolled his eyes, but he didn't stop himself from kicking his feet from under the table. it wasn't his fault they didn't reach the ground.

"i'm gonna use the bathroom." he hummed, patting hoseok's shoulder as he stood.

"i'll order for you."

he smiled slightly and looked around for where the bathroom was, falling to the floor with a loud crash when a waiter bumped into him, hitting his head against a bar stool on the way down.

"yoongi!!" was the only thing he heard as he lay onto the floor, all he could feel was a blinding pain, and arms wrapping around him.

"hobi." he whimpered, scrunching his hands into the fabric of the other's shirt, holding on tightly.

"it's okay, i got you." hoseok hushed him, rubbing his back.

"wanna go home." he sniffled, not even embarrassed when two tears fell down his cheeks. "home please, hobi."

hoseok left the restaurant with his number, carrying yoongi back to the car, taking 30 seconds to get him into the seat cause he wouldn't let go.

when they arrived to the apartment building, hoseok didn't bother making yoongi walk, and picked him up once more, holding him the whole way.

"hurts," yoongi pouted, curling up on the couch. "and hungry."

hoseok tilted his head, wondering why his hyung's voice had raised to a higher pitch, and how choppy his sentences were. though it was extremely cute.

"yoongi are you okay?" he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"no."

"do you need anything?"

"mr. woobie." yoongi cooed, starting to revert into little space and he couldn't help it, in his little mind, hoseok had saved him, and that was enough to make him feel safe.

"who the hell is mr. woobie?"
