Kirstie's POV:

It's pretty weird, you know.

Kissing your enemy.

Your enemy kissing you.

It won't register, it just won't.

But I laid in bed thinking about his lips all night, after of course having an argument with my mother.

Another lie, my face is so sore.

I walked over to the mirror. "Should I cover it, or leave it be?" I questioned myself.

Mitch would probably leave it be.

I smiled at my reflection, knowing Mitch cares for me.

I have now seen what he has to deal with everyday of his life.

It horrible, unreasonable, so unfair.

I sigh and grab my backpack then head downstairs.

I walk to the door and head out to school, for once I wasn't scared to go there.

I finally make it and go to my locker, I enter the code and open it.

Almost immediately it slams shut right in front of my face.

I glance over who which I thought was Mitch but wasn't.

It was Avi, Scott, and Kevin.

"So you've been hanging around our Mitch huh?" Avi questioned.

"Yeah, so what?" I asked with an attitude.

He grabbed my shirt and slammed me against the locker. "You're changing him!" He yelled.

"He needs to change! So do you!" I yelled in his face.

Avi let go once the bell rung. "You're paying for this slut." Avi pointed at me then walked away with Scott and Kevin.

"I'm sorry." I heard Kevin whisper before he left with them.

I gave him a little smile then nodded and opened my locker again.

In class I saw Mitch, I smiled and walked up to him. "Hey Mitch." He glanced at me, arms crossed.

"Mitch?" I asked, slowly becoming confused.

"Leave me alone..." Mitch said quite quietly.

Something wasn't right, I sighed and sat down at my seat.

At lunch, Mitch went over to a table all alone but before I could make it over there.

The boys did, I walked over.

I stood with my food. "Mitch? Whats wrong?" I asked him.

The boys stared at me, while Mitch moved his food aside and looked down. "What's going on?" I asked, setting down my food and sitting beside him.

"We don't want you here." Avi growled at me from across the table.

I rolled my eyes at him and continued to stare at Mitch.

"Hey, you can tell me." I rubbed Mitch's back as he glanced at me with tears in his eyes.

"He doesn't love you, can't you see that?" Scott chuckled.
