Chloe’s POV

I look up as Baxter enters the room with a solemn expression on his face. I get up and set Kaitlin in her play pen and make my way over to him.

“What’s wrong Bax?” I ask wrapping my arms around him.

“I’m sorry babe I have bad news for you....Kale called everything’s cancelled....Carver’s taking Dakota to Paris so everything’s screwed now”

“Can’t we just grab her in Paris?”

“No babe, Carver’s taking Dakota to Paris for her honeymoon”

“Her honeymoon?” I manage to squeak out.

“Yes I’m sorry babe but it looks like he may succeed in breaking her this time”

“What about her girls, Destiny and Desire can’t we grab them”

“No there’s a young girl watching them and the whole gang”

“Did Angelica give her the pills?”

“Yes she’s been putting them in her food and she took her vitamins and switched them to birth control”

“So she’s still with us?”

When he doesn’t answer I raise my eyebrow.

“Eh he’s in Paris” Baxter says quietly.

“He’s falling for Dakota isn’t he?”

“I know but she’s only 19 Kale’s 24 coming 25”

“Good...she’s helping us out as much as she can”
