Harry-

Her face.

That was all I could see. I couldn't see all my family members in front of me on each side of the aisle, or the gown that she wore. I couldn't hear the music that was playing as she walked toward me.

The things I was aware of was the ache in my cheeks from smiling too much, I was even more aware of my heartbeat that was beating maybe a bit too fast.

But out of all things, it was her eyes. Her smile, her rosy cheeks, the shy, but excited look on her face as she was put to everyone's attention. And even though she walked down the aisle alone, without her father by her side, she seemed to be the happiest girl in the world. And that made me the happiest man in the world.

I remember now, as I take a hold of Alex's hands on the dance floor, of how tingles had shot up my arm at the feeling of her taking my hand when she reached the end of the aisle. All I could pay attention to was her, not the priest telling me what to repeat, because that was obvious when I had asked what?, and tore my eyes away from her to look at him. It made Alex laugh, and that was worth the embarrassment. I'm pretty sure all my family members had laughed too, but as I said, she was the only thing I was aware of.

All four boys stood beside me as my best man, well in this case, best men, and El as Alex's maid of honor, the other girls, including my sister, as her bridesmaids.

I was only well aware of the crowd among us when we said our I do's, and they erupted into awes and cries as we kissed. My mother was blubbering as we walked back down the aisle together, and she'd cried even more as I laid a quick kiss upon her cheek.

But beautiful plays through the speakers on El and Lou's giant patio deck, and Alex's warm arms that are wrapped around my waist are squeezing tightly as she speaks to me.

"Today was the perfect day, perfect weather." She says.

There is only a slight sprinkle outside, and that's good, because that means we can still be outside under the patio, but it's still the weather Alex likes.

"It was a perfect day." I agree.

"Perfect girl, too." I add.

Alex laughs at this, and lifts her cheek off my shoulder to look up at me. The eyeshadow on her eyelids is new to me, the light pink and silvers that are swiped across her eyes something Eleanor had forced her to let her do.

"You look so beautiful." I compliment her, and a familiar bashfulness surges over her at my words.

"And you look handsome." She replies back.

Her veil is already off, and my jacket and tie is already removed off my body. And now, realizing that I haven't quite paid attention to just what her dress looks like, I put my hands on her waist to push her back, distancing the space between us. It's a nice dress, I suppose. It looks beautiful on her, as everything does. It's not over the top, just I knew she would like. It's simple, for a not so simple girl. She's simple to others, laid back, a go with the flow person. But to me, she's this intrudging, beautiful, capturing girl that I am still yet to know every single detail about.

"Just now noticing I'm wearing a wedding dress?" Alex teases, and wraps her arms back around me.

"Of course not." I chuckle.
