Chapter 108 : fishing

Liam's P.O.V :

So after the girls went out , dad went upstairs to change and I did the same , after I changed I went down and opened my phone and sent Cassie a massage :

"sorry about earlier babe , I hope that I made it up for you , have fun ... love you ❤️"

I locked my phone and stood up and went to the kitchen to drink some water , I really hope that she isn't still mad at me , I totally forget that she hates going to beaches so I suggested it but after seeing Cassie mad at me , I asked myself what did I do wrong and instantly I figured it out and regretted doing so I left her and went upstairs to take a shower and while doing so I thought about doing something else today and then this idea popped up in my head , I know how much Cassie loves shopping and how much she loves going on a girl's day so this was what I did and hopefully she is happy now . After I was done drinking water I put the glass in the sink and went out and sat on the couch . I opened the tv and found a film and decided to watch it till dad gets ready . After about ten minutes dad came down and sat beside me , he turned to me and said :

"So what are we going to do ???"

Liam : "we can go fishing or go to play some golf or go to the club and play tennis or football"

Geoff : "well I haven't gone fishing in a while"

I nodded and said :

"Well fishing it is then"

We both got up and took our fishing equipment and put them in the truck of my dad's car and then we got in the car and dad started driving to the river . While dad was driving my phone buzzed signaling that I got a text massage . I unlocked my phone and saw a massage from Cassie saying :

"Yeah you made it up and well I am having fun and hope you will also have fun in whatever you and your dad will do . Love you too ❤️"

I smiled and typed back :

"Well me and dad are going fishing 🎣 and yeah I am sure I will have fun as long as you do"

I got an instant reply from her saying :

"Fishing ??? You guys should of told me that you are going fishing I would have came with you"

I laughed and typed back :

"well what about the girls day ???"

Cassie :

"Well they could have gone if they wanted to and me , you and your dad would have gone fishing"

I chuckled , she is really childish sometimes .

Liam :

"Well don't be sad I promise you that our next date will be a fishing date okay ???"

Cassie :

"YAY 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 THANK YOU SO MUCH LIAM JAMES PAYNE"

I chuckled yet again and locked my phone . Dad looked at me and said :

"Who is making you continuesly laughing ???"

Liam : "oh it is just Cass , she wanted to come with us so I promised her to take her on a fishing date um I mean day yeah on a fishing day"

I swallowed and looked out of the window . I saw his reflection on the glass window while he was nodding his head . Soon we arrived , dad parked the car and once we got out of the car I said :

"Well you can get the things out of the truck while I go to rent a yacht"

Dad nodded and I left him and went to the information desk and asked where is the renting yacht centre , after that I went to the centre and told the guy standing there that I need to rent a yacht for the day and after I filled some papers and paid , I went back to my dad's car and said :

"Everything's set . Lemme help you"

We both carried the things and went to the yacht , we got aboard and loaded our things on it . I told the captain that we are ready to go and soon we were in the middle of the river . Me and dad got our fishing rods ready and attached the bait to them .

Geoff : "I will throw first"

I nodded and motioned with my hands for him to go ahead while saying :

"sure go ahead then"

Dad threw his fishing rod in the river and then sat down on the chair as I stood up to take my turn in throwing the fishing rod , after doing so I followed my dad's previous action and sat on the chair . We both chatted about what has been going in our lives while we were waiting for any fish .

So it was now 6 pm and me and dad had finished fishing and we were on our way home right now . Suddenly my dad's phone rang . He picked it up and put it on speaker before saying :

"Hey Karen"

Karen : "hi Geoff"

I smiled knowing it was mom and said :

"Hey mom"

She laughed and dad soon followed her actions . After a minute dad said :

"So what's up ???"

Karen : "me and the girls are done with the shopping so I was thinking that maybe we can meet somewhere and grab dinner ???"

Me and dad nodded at the idea .

Geoff : "it is a good idea so where should we meet ???"

Karen : "maybe at that Chinese restaurant near the mall ???"

Geoff : "ok see you there guys"

He hung , dad parked the car and we went out out and took the bucket which had the fish we caught earlier today . We put them in the freezer and then washed our hands and went back to dad's car and got in and dad started driving to the Chinese restaurant. After about fifteen minutes or so we arrived dad parked and we saw my mom's car parked a few blocks away , so they are here already cool . Let's see how this night will go .....
