Chapter 136 : waking up

Liam's P.O.V :

The sun is rising right now , I know because I can see the very little light that is coming through the window that is located on the opposite side of this corridor . I haven't slept all night , all I did was pray and hope that she would wake up soon . I want to take her out of this place and take her home . The sunrise made flashbacks of that day when Cassie insisted that we sleep early so we can wake up early and go somewhere to watch the sunrise . The next morning I took her out of the town to an area where we would be alone , the place was so quite , so green , full of grasses and hills . I remember that Cassie that day chose the highest hill to watch the sunrise from . After we watched the sunrise and took some pictures we went back home . I smiled at this memory . I shook my head and looked around me . The boys are still sleeping , I stretched my legs and arms , I then moved my neck in a circular motion and straighten my backbone . Sleeping in a metal hospital bed is a bad thing for your body . I don't get it though , this is a hospital , people come here to be better and be cured but having these chairs here prove that they really don't care about people that much , because if they do , as they say then they must look out for every detail including these chairs ..... I got pulled out of my thoughts by Niall saying :

"Is she still in the ICU ???"

I nodded .

Niall : "I will go get us something to eat"

I nodded yet again . After he went , I stood up and went to the bathroom , after I was done peeing , I washed my hands then my face and then looked in the mirror . Woah . I am shocked by my reflection . My hair is messy , so messy actually , from all the nervousness I have been through all night and till now , under my eyes are black bags . My skin pale probably from not eating anything from yesterday . I sighed . I ran my hand through my hair only this time to try and make it look at least a little good . I splashed my face with cold water a multiple of time hoping to make me look fresh somehow and to hide a bit of the bags . I then went out and saw that the rest of the boys are up and that Niall came back and all of the boys are eating and drinking coffee .

Niall : "here mate"

He hand me a sandwich and a cup of coffee .

Liam : "thanks Niall , I will be right back , just keep it there"

He nodded . I went to the front desk of this floor and said :

"Um good morning , I want to ask about Cassie Walker"

The guy greeted me with a smile following by a nod , he typed something on his computer then looked at me and said :

"Well after half an hour , the doctor will check her then if she is okay he will order her movement out of the ICU and to her room , if not , then she will stay there"

I nodded and said :

"Thanks"

The guy nodded and smiled . I went back to the boys , told them the updates and for the first time I looked at the time , it's 7:30 am . I ate my sandwich and drank my coffee , hoping that the caffeine will kick in and give me some angry and that the sandwich will give me some strength and some colour back to my skin . I don't want to look miserable when Cassie wakes up . She will get mad . Every minute or so I would look in my watch then at the ICU doors . Soon enough , the doctor came and went inside and after a couple of minutes he came back out and said :

"She is doing well , she should be awake in an hour , we will just take her to her room now then you can see her , if you please but one by one please , we don't want to crowd the place in the room"
