"Ashton is that you?? " I asked.

And Lynn nearly fainted.

They were cousins?? Wow...Lynn and Ashton were cousins.

It took some time for all that to sink in.

And then it was official,  Ash and his Mom were shifting here.

Mrs. Murray, Ashton's mom was so elegant and pretty.
And then her strikingly handsome son stepped in.

Lynn was explaining to her about the house and all the things.

That's when she told, "they told you guys the truth already?".

Looking at our faces, she saw that she had said too much.
"No, don't worry about it".

"Please do tell us"

"No, you will know when the time is right, and your parents won't be sending money to you after this and also they won't be able to call regularly".

I couldn't bear this anymore, I ran away to our room and Lynn came behind me. I could hear Mrs. Murray sigh.

Maybe she is also going through a tough time.

So  I turned to go down. Lynn told me with her eyes that we need to talk.
But I pull her with me downstairs and go to Mrs. Murray.

"Come in Mrs. Murray, you should take my parents room".

"Children, don't worry about the money, I will take care of it ".

"But how?".

"Ashton is working, I also get some money every month and you have rented out the house, I guess that will be enough".

"Where does Ashton work?"

"I work as a pizza delivery guy" he said keeping his head low.

"There is nothing wrong in having a job, don't look down upon yourself", Mrs.Murray told him.

Mrs. Murray was very kind,  she made us a very good dinner and as we were arranging the table,  Ash came.

Everyone was normal except me,  he was shirtless.

It was so distracting and I kept checking him out.

Lynn seemed to know about it, and was trying hard to stifle a giggle.

At that moment the phone rang,  Lynn rushed to it, Peter had called.

Mrs. Murray went to the kitchen.

It was only the two of us in the room.
It was awkward at first and then all of a sudden,
"So princess, we are going to be living under the same roof, it is going to be a lot of fun".

A blush crept into my face and a smile escaped my lips.

"Do you think we will have enough money? "  I asked a totally irrelevant question.

He was taken aback for a minute but then he said,
"Don't worry I'll take care of it".

"Maybe I can also get a job"

"Princess, I told I'll take care", he said his voice rising.

Then I shut up.

We had dinner,  it felt good to have someone at least sitting at the table except only Lynn and me.

Someone was banging at the door real hard, what is their problem.
